These are beautiful, heavy-weight plates. I'd seen the smaller dessert plates and ice cream bowls before ordering, but took a chance by ordering the dinner plates being large enough to hold a meal inside the ornate rims. Now that I've received them, I am happy with the size of the food area. The plates (4) arrived appropriately packed, and in timely fashion.
