Q: We had a blowout up the back, & leaks back & side/front. Why do all diaper brands say blowout & leak proof when none are? I've tried many brands. Is there a secret method to prevent blowouts & leaks?

Hopeful but dissappointing

We really wanted to love this product because it was a cleaner option for our baby, however, they LEAK. Definitely not suitable for overnight. The box I got also had a blue print which is difficult to see the blue line in those hazy middle of the night changes. The only way I could tell my baby was wet was the large amount of urine on his clothes. We will finish up the box during our daytime changes to use them up but I will not be buying this again.

Disappointing Performance and Frequent Leaks

​Subject: Struggling with absorbency and overnight leaks ​I recently transitioned to The Honest Company diapers after my previous go-to brand, Pampers Pure Protection, was discontinued. I was genuinely excited to switch to Honest, as I have always admired the brand’s mission and aesthetic. However, after using them for my 14-month-old daughter, I am unfortunately very disappointed in the quality and performance. ​Despite changing my daughter every two to three hours throughout the day, we experienced consistent issues with the diapers' inability to contain moisture. The most significant failure occurred overnight. Even with a diaper change every three hours during the night, I frequently found her pajamas and bedding soaked. ​For a premium diaper, I expected much better structural integrity and absorbency. Having to perform full clothing and linen changes in the middle of the night, despite proactive diapering, is simply not sustainable. I truly wanted to love this product, but due to the lack of reliability and constant leaking, I ended up returning the remaining diapers to the store. ​I hope The Honest Company looks into improving the core absorbency of this line, as the current quality did not meet our family's needs for basic moisture protection.

Leaks

We’ve tried pampers, Huggies, Mille moon. All good. We were gifted Honest diapers for our baby shower and after having 4 pee leaks in 1 week I officially hate them. Will not be purchasing.

Poopy performance

We were given boxes of these for our baby shower and returned all of them after experiencing blowout after blowout. The diapers we used are the correct sized (N) but are ill fitting. They don’t fit tightly enough around the thighs/waist. I’d like to think it’s not user error when other brands do not have these issues.

Our diapers are designed for a snug, secure fit, so this isn’t what we’d expect. Sometimes a small adjustment, like making sure the diaper is fastened evenly and the leg cuffs are fully pulled out, can help improve fit, but we understand every baby’s shape is different. Great! But wish they were thicker

Great clean diapers. We only use for our daughter during the day, however as they are not as thick and absorbent as other brands so we use others at night for a longer wear while she’s asleep.

Disappointed

FTM here and I was so excited to try honest diapers as I’ve heard they are a cleaner option and are good for baby’s skin. We used the Huggies diapers from the hospital and then when they ran out, tried the newborn honest diapers. After two uses of the honest brand, our little guy developed a rash right on his belly. He also leaked pee out of the back at a doctors appointment but the poo has held in well so that is a plus. Honestly disappointed because I’ve heard so many good things but we will not be using them moving forward.

Will not buy again

Been using their diapers for about a week and I’d say over 3/4 of them fail to hold any liquid what so ever. My son took a nap and woke up with his entire back wet from pee. The strip indicating if he had peed or not was still yellow. This has happened multiple times but with other brands they do great.

Love them!

These diapers are great. I’ve experimented with all of the major brands and these definitely compare. I usually have to double up on overnight sleeps with diapers but I don’t with these. The designs are also adorable! These were gifted by thehonestcompany but I would repurchase.

Not so good

This is my honest opinion from our experience- each child is different so opinions are different. For us those diapers only good for a daytime use and only for couple hours. They get full very fast and stop absorbing more liquid. Not recommend it to use for overnight. #gifted by thehonestcompany
