After cooking this beef (and trying again with multiple different packages, bought at different times) there are a lot of thin, white strands sticking out of the beef. They resemble hair or whiskers! I haven’t been able to confirm what this is yet, but I have never seen it before in my ground beef. I do not recommend this beef.

What animal is this again?
Doesn't taste like much of anything. I bought 2 packages & used them in 2 different recipes, but both turned out lacking a central flavor. Couldn't really taste this meat, whatever it was. I'm not convinced this is really beef, but there may be some beef added, idk. I guess that's what I get for buying meat at Target.

Weird texture, taste, and fragments
There’s something off about this beef…the texture was really odd cooking it and eating it - like overly soft and mushy & there was a weird curved translucent purple ish hard piece (probably bone or something). Organic beef from anywhere else is better!
