  • A: Yes, any frozen meal can. I take it out of microwave packaging, put onto parchment paper, & into my toaster oven. I normally cook frozen meals at 375 for 20 mins, then stir or flip, cook 10 more mins

    The green sauce that comes with this is too spicy for me. If eaten without the sauce it's very, very bland. Adding some salsa helped it. The rice/veg mix is decent, though I'd prefer all black beans, no pintos. Would recommend with caveat about spice.

    Way too spicy

    I ordered this from Shipt using Target. I should have believed the reviews. I didn't buy a lot of extra meals for the week since I order delivery, I bought 2 of these. I tried to get through one and the spice level is ridiculous. I ate about half as not to waste, but had to toss the rest and won't eat the second one. These used to be great. My mouth was burning for several minutes and I'm hoping my stomach won't keep me up all night. I should've thrown out after the first bite. Very disappointed. 😞

    3/4 RICE, VERY FEW BEANS!

    Talk about “Shrinkflation”! Not only was this MOSTLY rice (which is why it doesn’t have much protein!) but it’s ridiculously HOT, and I don’t usually mind some heat. I couldn’t even eat it!! A little bit of mild chilis or tomatillos are fine, but this was overpowering!! Not buying this again! Oh, and PLEASE get rid of all that inner plastic packaging!! It’s totally unnecessary!!

    WASTED MONEY

    My first purchase was absolutely delicious. My 2nd purchase was a little spicier than I like. I’m an esophageal cancer survivor & have issues with spicy foods. Today, I heated my 3rd AND FINAL purchase because even though I barely drizzled sauce over the veggies, my mouth, throat etc were on fire! Each purchase was hotter than the previous one! Wasted money, I had to throw it out! Do you have to make it so spicy hot?? Come up with a mild sauce!

    My Go-To Vegetarian Meal!

    I am the world’s pickiest vegetarian and this is my go-to if I’m too lazy to cook or just want a treat. Absolutely love everything about this bowl, including the heat. Sooo delicious. I actually add it to a cheese quesadilla and it’s even better!

    Way too spicy now! New recipe?

    I've eaten this bowl several times in the past and it was great. But I tried it again today and it was crazy spicy. I couldn't even finish it. Did you guys change the recipe? I remember it being a little spicy in the past, but nothing like it is now.

    Inedible, worse than you could imagine

    Inedible. Not like the photo. A ridiculously small portion of bland white rice with a few beans topped with a tasteless yet annoyingly spicy sauce. I can't believe I paid for this.

    Will not buy again—too spicy, inedible

    I saw this in the freezer aisle and it looked perfect—relatively low calorie and low fat while being high fiber. Imagine my dismay when I discovered I can’t abide the spicing. I tried eating it while drinking milk, and then I tried adding a little sugar, all to no avail. I also tried adding more veggies to tone it down and that didn’t work either.
