  • A: I used to take melatonin and was looking for both adult and children's and I noticed your question. I took it the time I wanted to go to bed. Let's say I wanted bedtime to be 9:30 so I took it around 9:15. I'm assuming that would be the same for children. Hope this helps your question.

    Fine mostly, some bottles full of hard gummies

    We’ve gotten these for over a year for our 4 year old. Most bottles are fine - gummies are soft and chewy. But every now and then, we get a bottle with gummies that are hard and impossible for a little kid to chew..

    Flavor change

    We have used these for several years now for our autistic kids. I’m really disappointed this time. They changed the flavor from strawberry to berry and made the rest of the package the same. It still even has strawberries on it. My son noticed immediately. Im disappointed when I go to reorder a previous order I expect it to be the same not a new flavor.

    Effective and easy for kids to take

My kids prefer other brands due to taste and texture, but this Zarbee’s will work in a pinch when needed. They have a sweet smell and are a good size for children. Dosage is great and I didn’t notice any bad side effects!

The dosage of melatonin is extremely high, and it’s enough to put an adult out like a light. I wouldn’t use these for daily support - only for jet lag. The taste is extremely gummy - these don’t dissolve easily and they’re very large.

    Helps my son sleep better!

    My 9 year old has a hard time after weekends off from school getting back into the routine of bedtime so these definitely help with that. Within 30 minutes of taking he is out like a light. Highly recommended

    Actually works!!

She takes it 30 minutes before bed and that gives her time to brush her teeth and read a story. She says they taste good which is always a huge plus. I love that it’s made with real honey, no high fructose corn syrup and no artificial sweeteners! I highly recommend if your kids need some gentle help falling asleep.

    The Flavor Changed

    I've been using this brand for several years and I really enjoyed the flavor of them, but the last bottle I bought has a really strange flavor. It reminds me of the Flintstone vitamins I took as a kid which is not a fond memory. Comparing my old bottle with the new one, the ingredients haven't changed and it still says the flavor is "natural berry flavor." The only thing different is that the old one said "Formulated using the honibe patented Honey Gummies Process." I'm not sure if that's why they taste different, but I don't think I'll buy these again.
