[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This comforter sham set has a nice wintery design on quality fabric. It’ll go well with almost any decor in your bedroom. It has a slightly rough texture once it’s washed but may soften over time. The shams add a nice finishing touch to complete the ensemble.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Duvet seems to be made of good quality material. It is a little rough to the touch. Hopefully over time it will soften more after it has been through a few washes. I would recommend this item. Super cute. Washed it and put it on comforter. It's not quite as soft as I would want it to be but it will work on guest bed in our vacation rental. I think it will hold up well to multiple washings

Do NOT purchase. Terrible quality and not the same as the photo.
I honestly think this is a different duvet cover than in the photo and from what people were saying about it 12 months ago. Mine came today and is definitely white, not cream, and the red is a weird bright red - it is NOT a darker, more burgundy like in the photos. And most of all, the fabric is SO thin you can see right through it. There are also no ties in the corners which makes things so much more difficult. I am beyond disappointed by the quality overall - I expected much more out of Eddie Bauer, and now have a different opinion of the brand. I am returning this right away tomorrow at a Target store and will relay this information there as well. Also disappointed because I ordered this with a 20% off coupon the week after Black Friday, and got other discounts on top of it – if I would have known this is what it was like I would have purchased a different duvet cover to get the discounts. Eddie Bauer and Target: Be authentic to what you are selling.

Not what I expected.
I was looking for something durable that my duvet insert would fit in. My duvet fits but there are no attachment points in the corners so my duvet insert will move around. As for the fabric, it is much thinner than I anticipated. Not the quality I was looking for.

Handsome Plaid Duvet Cover & Sham Set
This Portage Bay Plaid Duvet Cover and Sham Set looks great on my king-size bed. The color online was accurate - it's a cream background (not white) with a grey and red plaid on one side and a grey and white check on the reverse. It fits my big and cozy duvet just perfectly. Love that it is reversible too. Glad I was able to find it on sale!

I took a chance on this since the above comment about it being more white through me off and I’m glad I did. Great product! Very soft and good quality so far. The color is great. It’s not white at all. Definitely a tanner color just like the photo. One little thing with it is its a little bigger than my king comforter. I have not washed it yet though so it might shrink a little? Overall I love it!

My order arrived on time and nicely packaged. In all, it was a nice product. With the brand name, I was expecting a bit thicker fabric and sturdier enclosures. The pattern was crisp and the cotton fabric was very soft. However, the color in the photo is a bit deceiving. I was expecting a silver/dark red plaid on a cream background. The photo shows a pretty clear difference between the white sheets and "cream" duvet/pillow cases. However, the actual product was closer to a white. Frankly, it just looked strange.
