[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Eddie Bauer Diamond Floral Green Quilt Set! The material is soft and lightweight but still keeps me warm. It’s very comfortable to sleep under, not too heavy or too thin—just right for all seasons. The full/queen size fits my bed perfectly, covering it nicely without being too short or too long. After washing a few times, it still looks great, with no fading or shrinking. The fabric stays soft, and the stitching is strong. I would definitely buy this again and recommend it to my friends and family. Thanks to Influenster and Eddie Bauer for the complimentary set!

There is not a single redeeming aspect to this thing. Let's start with the worst part; It's about as soft as a burlap sack. It's truly bad. Scratchy and stiff even after several washings and fabric softener. I've had fabric like this before, it will never soften. The filling must be just a thin sheet of filler material with zero fluff. This thing rates a zero. You're basically getting something that feels like one of those outdoor blankets you're supposed to sit on.

Rustic-looking bedspread-- a good choice
The Eddie Bauer bedspread is a medium/heavy weight— a warm cover for recent below-zero wind chills. Reversible side is a nice tattersall plaid. It may look like the quilt is pieced, but it is not. This bedspread is not particularly soft (yet)— it is cotton, though, so with washes it should begin to soften. The hem is evenly rolled around the perimeter. My only complaint is that an inch of decorative diamond-pattern stitching pulled out on day 2 of use. I am handy with a machine and can fix it, fortunately. If you are looking for a bedspread, this is a nice choice. It’s rustic and rugged-looking. If you are hoping for a quilt with soft inch-high batting like your grandma may have pieced together, this is not what you want. Since it is not pieced, it will wear well with kids and pets. Just keep an eye opened for occasional pulled decorative stitching. (My photo shows the reverse side).

Better than expected
The patchwork design really does look like a traditional quilt. The colors in full light look just like the picture. Although not extremely heavy it is heavier and warmer than I expected which is great. Being cotton it's very warm compared to other fabrics. It worked great on a cold night with the windows open. The feel of the fabric is just what I was hoping for. It feels sturdy and doesn't have that super soft feel which isn't for me. I like that it's 100% cotton and is washable. By the looks of it I don't think there is any possibility of getting any pilling when washing. I can't think of any negative aspects. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

very classic plaid. just love it. it's a printed quilt not a true patchwork quilt but has the quilted feel. Still looks really great, have to really look to see it's not a true patchwork. It was between this quilt and another, I bought the other first because it was a bit cheaper and more color. When I received it in the mail I hated it instantly. This one I loved instantly. And by the time I ordered it the quilt set was on sale. SCORE!! Many reviews say they used it in a boys room or their sons room but being a woman I just love the cozy look to it. Classic plaid is comforting. It washed well and I know will soften up over time. lays nice and really looks good.
