Q: Do the plans need to be registered immediately or can they be registered at any point during the life of the coverage?

  • A: Hello Curious, Registration is purely optional and has to be completed online Squaretrade website. We need a copy of the purchase receipt at the time of filing a claim on your item. Whenever you have the time, you can easily upload the copy of the receipt online on your account. So that when you want to file a claim, it's already online and there are no delays. regards, Ali

Q: What if I lost the band's?

  • A: Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us. I am sorry to inform you, SquareTrade does not offer coverage for loss or theft. The SquareTrade Care Plan is an extended warranty, not insurance. It only provide coverage for mechanical or electrical failures that occur during normal use along with physical damages or broken parts. Q: I have 1 wearable electronic to protect, I purchased the protection for that one, and I bought 2 tablets online from target.com yesterday, do I need to purchase 2 separate protection plans for those, or one, which covers the cost of both?
