Q: Is this safe arounds children. I have a 1 year old and 4 year old who are all over our cat and dog. Our yard back up to woods and I keep finding ticks in the house. I need something fast.

I’m sure the smaller collar is nicer for the cats, but the collar was wrapped in plastic, inside a second container, and then wrapped in plastic again. Seems excessive.

Do not ever buy!! I have been using this product on my cat for 10 years and we lost him to mouth cancer. Read the warning labels and the link between mouth cancer and these awful collars. I would give zero starts off possible.

I felt it was effective as I didn’t notice any fleas due to her coming in and out. My kitty is just not a huge fan of a collar in general. But I would recommend it to help control fleas.

It was easy to place the collar on him and it could easily be sized down to fit a cat of any size. I like that this will help against fleas and ticks for 8 months, so no need to think about it again until mid-November. I also appreciate that this collar has a way to loosen up and avoid harming the car should the collar get caught on something.

He wasn’t used to wearing a collar and went wild trying to get it off. However, after some time, he got used to it. The best part is that I haven’t seen any fleas or ticks since putting it on, which is a huge relief since he spends time both indoors and outdoors. While the adjustment period was rough, the effectiveness of the collar makes it worth it. If your cat isn’t used to wearing collars, expect some resistance at first, but overall, it does what it promises.

First, I feel like I should say I have two cats and since they are indoors rarely feel like they needed flea protection. However, after increasing my household size with various occupations, my feelings have changed due to the natural vulnerabilities that my feline friends may have when we have visitors or someone brings home unexpected visitors. I can attest that this gives me piece of mind and is light enough where the cats do not constantly try to remove it. I will definitely be considering using this product in the future.

I normally use a topical flea treatment for my cats, but one of my cats absolutely hates it and tries to scratch me when I try applying. I was excited to try this product, since it protects from fleas and ticks for up to 8 months. It can be used on both cats and kittens (over 10 weeks old). The collar is pretty easy to adjust so that it fits cats of any size. For my cat, I measured the length of her regular collar and adjusted the flea collar and cut off the excess before putting on her. Unfortunately she is not very cooperative so I can’t show a photo with her wearing it, but it seems to work better for us, since I don’t have to apply flea treatment every month. She is an indoor cat and doesn’t mind wearing it
