Soothed my dog’s itchy irritated skin fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog had been constantly scratching and licking her back legs. Her skin looked red and irritated. I used this shampoo every few days, leaving it on for 5 to 10 minutes just like the instructions said. It lathered easily and rinsed out with no problem. After just a couple uses I noticed she wasn’t licking nearly as much and the redness looked way better. I love that it has oatmeal and aloe and it didn’t dry her skin out at all. Tip: use a gentle washcloth to massage it in if your dog’s extra wiggly. This will stay in our bath routine anytime she starts to get itchy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog Puff has very sensitive skin and often struggles with constant itching, especially during warmer months. We tried this medicated shampoo for hot spots and it worked wonders. After just one use, he was scratching much less and his skin looked so much calmer. Plus, his coat was fluffy, clean, and smelled great. Highly recommended if your pup deals with similar issues.

He was constantly itching and biting at his skin, especially during allergy season, and nothing seemed to help—until I tried this. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 dogs deal with hotspots on there. Pause and under the stomach area, they also lick their front paws constantly when I used this product as directed. I had to use a lot of the shampoo because I did not lather up. I used this product once every 10 days for a month but I did not see a decrease in my dogs hotspots or licking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Luna and Halo both deal with occasional itching, so we gave the Veterinary Formula Hot Spot & Itch Relief Medicated Shampoo a try. After just one wash, their skin looked less irritated and they stopped scratching as much. It leaves their coats soft, clean, and most importantly, comfortable. Going to continue to use it to see the results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My pup was constantly licking, scratching, and chewing at his sides, leaving his skin red and irritated. I decided to try this medicated shampoo and was impressed from the first wash. It lathered easily and had a mild, clean scent. I focused on the most irritated areas, gently massaging it in and letting it sit for 8 minutes before rinsing. It rinsed cleanly with no residue, and he stayed calm the whole time—probably because it felt soothing. We used it three times a week for the first two weeks. After a few uses, his skin looked calmer, and he wasn't licking as much. His coat also felt softer, likely thanks to the oatmeal and aloe. My tip: brush your dog first and use lukewarm water—it helps the shampoo reach the skin better. This isn’t part of our regular bath routine, but it’s a must-have when flare-ups happen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog had been dealing with skin issues—intense itching, redness, and constant licking of her fur. The most affected areas were her sides and belly. After trying a few options, I decided to give this shampoo a shot, and I’m so glad I did. Bath time was easy and stress-free. The shampoo lathers well, spreads easily, and has a mild, pleasant scent. I gently massaged it into her coat, focusing on the irritated spots, and left it on for about 7 minutes as recommended. It rinsed out completely without leaving any residue. I used it every other day during the first week. After just a few uses, I noticed a real difference—my dog was scratching much less, the redness was visibly reduced, and her coat looked shinier and healthier. I also appreciated that it didn’t cause any further irritation and seemed gentle on her sensitive skin. A quick tip: let the shampoo sit for the full 5–10 minutes before rinsing—this really makes a difference. And, of course, avoid getting it in your pet’s eyes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Holly gets hotspots in the summer all the time.she is dual coat and will lick and scratch like mad at the spot. Her hair will ball up and the redness just causes her pain. Veterinary Formula Hotspot bath is our first line of defense. I soak her coat and lather her up really well focusing on the affected areas. typically I will leave it on her for about 3-5 minutes. No over powering smell, easy to rinse out and doesn't cause any irritation to Holly skin. I will dry he off, brush her out and apply the Hotspot spray on her as well. Within the first bath and spray application Holly is more at ease, the scratching and licking has lessened. Usually after the second bath, a few days apart Holly had stopped licking and scratching. She appears happier and the redness and heat of her hotspots are less.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before trying the Hot Spot & Itch Relief Medicated Shampoo, my dog was constantly scratching and licking her sides, and her skin had some red patches. Bath time with this shampoo was straightforward—it lathered just enough and rinsed out easily without leaving any residue. I’ve been using it once a week, leaving it on for about 5 minutes before rinsing, and that seems to help it work better. After a few baths, I noticed her scratching less and her coat feeling softer and easier to brush. I make sure to work it into the trouble spots really well before letting it sit, and that’s made a big difference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a golden doodle and she is very active and always outside. Unfortunately, she has a really hard time with itchy skin, but this spray has immensely helped. I typically sprayed it on 20 minutes or so before we go outside. I do make sure to do it when she’s calm and or sleeping that way she can’t lick it or anything. I’ve noticed it has also given her a lot of relief so if I forget to put it on before we go out, I can put it on after and it seems to help it also smells so good.. I would definitely recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My poor little beagle mix has so many skin issues. It seems like we finally tackle allergies, and a hot spot shows up. This shampoo has been really great at lessening his symptoms severity, which allows us all to sleep again since he’s not up all night itching! Also the suds are great! Some shampoos seem so thick and hard to lather under the coat, this one is great!
