Lidocaine and hydrocortisone reduce itching, redness and swelling while allantoin helps stimulate wound healing.
This Hot Spot and Itch Relief Spray is veterinary recommended and paraben and dye-free. It will not remove topical spot-on flea and tick treatments and has been shown to help safely treat hot spots and skin infections from allergies, insect bites and more. Noticeable Relief and a Little Goes a Long Way

I’ve used the Veterinary Formula Hot Spot & Itch Relief Medicated Shampoo a couple of times now and have already seen improvement in my dog’s comfort. The scent is mild and not overly chemical, which I really appreciated. The directions were clear and it lathered super well. I only needed a small amount to cover his whole coat, so the bottle will definitely last (especially since he's an XXL dog.) After the first use, I noticed instant relief once he dried. By the second wash, he was noticeably less itchy and his skin seemed less dry. He wasn’t dealing with major redness, but this definitely helped with overall irritation. If your dog deals with dry, itchy skin and you want something that feels gentle but works, this shampoo is a great go-to.

Comfort for Baloo

Great Shampoo!

Every once in a while we notice her itching and licking, so we were excited to give the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Hot Spot Shampoo a try. Bath time was actually pretty easy. The formula lathered well, rinsed out quickly, and didn’t leave any residue behind. I followed the directions by massaging it into the irritated spots and letting it sit for a few minutes before rinsing. Overall, it’s been such a helpful addition to our routine, and I love that it’s gentle enough for her sensitive skin.

No Itch

He loves exploding through grassy fields but is allergic to grass and dust mites so his paws get very red and itchy which makes him lick his paws constantly which makes the itchiness worse. After just using this soap for the first time I noticed it helped with the itching. He still have day where his constantly licks his paws, but the redness is going away day by day. If your dog deals with itchy red skin or hot patches this is a good soap to try.
