Irritating Installation = will NOT buy again.
The shower rod set up was extremely annoying. The side pieces require two Allen wrenches to create tension to tighten the screw and a decent amount of had strength. Absolutely need two humans to set it up in the final steps. We utilized the tension method and after a bit more frustration we figured it out! I will come back and update if we have trouble with it actually staying up with use but it seems tight against the wall from my tugging. Also, the covers to the tension spots are annoyingly clinking while you situate the rod in place. Kept it because we figured it out after 20 minutes and I didn’t want to bother with a return.

Nice once you get it together
First complaint, like another reviewer said, the pieces cut me when trying to put them together. Second complaint, the plastic piece on the end of the rod was not properly installed and was askew. It prevented the rod from connecting to the mounting bracket. I had to use a screwdriver to pry it open enough to let the rod in. Third complaint, the video instructions are for a completely different model. I hung it by myself, even though the directions say two people. With a step stool, it was easy to hang alone. I used the tension installation method. Seems sturdy and looks nice.

Don’t bother. This is the worst. Followed the directions and it will not stay on the wall. Very frustrating. Already threw the box away so not sure I can return it but it doesn’t work.

Terrible. Wont tighten, or stay up.
Won’t tighten to wall just slides down no matter how hard you twist it. Can’t screw into my wall so was relying on twist to tighten method. Followed all directions. Triple checked I was doing it right. It would stay for a few minutes and then slides down. Even had a man tighten it as well, thinking it was my lack of strength. Nope. Wouldn’t stay. Don’t buy unless you can use the permanent screw in method.

Bought 2, 1 worked fine other did not at all
Bought 2, 1 didn't work. The first one was a little harder than other tension rod installs I've done over time but seems sturdy, still working well, etc. I figured the second one would be super easy but it just didn't work and won't hold tension after double checks and comparisons and several attempts. Overall, take your chances I guess.

Aluminum is too soft, poor quality
The aluminum in this product is of poor quality. There’s a single set screw on the rod that holds its length—I followed the instructions exactly, but then ended up needing to extend the rod by 1/16. I removed the set screw and when I tried to refasten it, the aluminum was too soft. The threads in the hole in the rod were stripped and the $40 rod was useless. Will attempt to return.

Safety and Labeling Issues to Be Aware Of
The product arrived with each part labeled to assist with assembly, which was helpful in theory. However, several labels were placed on surfaces that remain visible after installation, and unfortunately, the label material was poorly chosen. They tore off in tiny pieces and left behind stubborn adhesive residue (as shown on the right side of my photo). While trying to remove the glue from one of the endcaps, I sliced my thumb open on a sharp internal edge, likely left over from the manufacturing process where the slot for the rod was cut. This was a painful and unexpected hazard. Advice to future buyers: Handle the parts with care, especially around cut edges, and be prepared to deal with adhesive cleanup. Message to Target and its vendors: Please prioritize consumer safety in both design and manufacturing. If labeling parts is necessary, use high-quality removable labels that don’t leave residue or require excessive force to remove. And ensure all edges are properly finished to prevent injuries.

Waste of Money
The tension rod is unable to support the weight of a shower curtain. Turns down immediately after hanging a curtain and line. Very effective if all you want is a rod, no curtain, in your shower.

Worst shower curtain ever
This shower curtain was impossible to put up. I had so many issues with it. Maybe if you don't have tile in your shower, it would be okay. It started scratching my new shower tile! I would give this 0 stars if I could. I've wasted my time and money trying to put it together. The other issue with it was also the stickers leaving a sticky residue. I even used my hair dryer on the sticker first, which usually helps all stickers automatically peel off. Nope!! That trick didn't work. I hate this product.
