Q: dear target, please if you want to have satisfied customers, investigate all the tension rods you sell with this tension locking design! It does not work. there is no tension spring
A: Ck12: The tension rod is designed without a spring for a better hold and to protect against rust. The way the rod is secured in place is with a unique two-step locking system. To ensure a secure installation, each step of the 2-steps must be completed independently to ensure a proper fit and hold. It was also designed in response to traditional tension rods not holding sufficient weight. We have had many satisfied customers. If you’re still experiencing a challenge with installation, please contact 855-4-SATORI and the team will walk you through the installation process. Thank you.

Q: Does Dual Mount mean you can either use it as a tension rod or permanently attached with screws?
A: don't plan on using as a tension rod. it will not stay up. the design is poor the internal workings have no spring.

Q: it's made of stainless steel, but will it rust anyway from shower use?
A: This definitely rusts! It is not rustproof. Bought for 2 bathrooms and rusted.
submitted byChrisitna - 4 months agoA: Hi Choozygramma – Thanks for reaching out! Stainless steel remains stainless, or does not rust, because of the interaction between its alloying elements and the environment. Stainless steel contains iron, chromium, manganese, silicon, carbon and, in many cases, significant amounts of nickel and molybdenum. This concludes today’s science lesson. – Tim

Q: When tightening small or large rod, will end caps also twist/turn? Should I loosen the end caps from rods slightly so there is space to tighten as I turn the rod?
A: Jan: The end caps should be fully threaded onto each rod end before beginning installation. After the rod gets locked to the needed width, with end caps touching the walls, twist the small rod to add tension. During this process, the end cap will unthread, but should stay in place as the rod is tensioned. Q: Will the end caps hold well on drywall without tearing it up too badly?
A: Hi Janet: Our endcaps spin independently of the rod. This will help protect your drywall because it can allow the endcaps to hold in one place while the rod is turned to create tension. That being said, as with any tension rod on the market, some movement may occur depending on exactly how you are holding the rod, etc. Additionally, the age/condition of the drywall, age/condition of the paint, and layers of paint will all impact results. We suggest having someone hold each endcap in place to avoid spinning against the wall during installation to provide maximum protection for your drywall paint. Thank you.
