A: It has the same % as the regular spray, and DEET is only moderately effectively against ticks. For ticks, use permethrin (for your clothes, not your skin) instead of, or in addition to, DEET.

Off defense
Off defense repellent- I have grown up on this brand and barely ever been biten by a mosquito in my entire childhood, this stuff was amazing I could go outside and play all night long and not worry about bugs .Now today with kids of my own to worry about I go to the only name I trust Off - I know that my kids are safe & protected from mosquito bites and what ever diseases that they may have because they won't be biting my kids thanks to Off - I still don't know what the Picaridiin is but if it protects kids I love it and I'll purchase this buy the cases instead of 6 cans at a time .Off keep your kids safe from mosquitos

Works the best
The best product without debt, this spray means no worries about wasted product from a broken aerosol can. Also, IT WORKS!!! not just against mosquitos.. or ticks, it works against all sorts of little creeps.

This product doesn't work.
My husband sprayed himself thoroughly with this spray so he could go birding. He went birding in a wetland area and came home with 9 ticks on his clothes. Fortunately none of the ticks got on his skin. This spray does not repel ticks. Also, we tried to directly spray the ticks with this repellent and it did nothing.

Deep Woods Off! This is the only mosquitoes repellant I use outside of the house as it feels that it would better protect me against all type of crazy insects. Inside the house, the yard, I use the regular Off! I found the tick one this year and I thought it is definitely a great idea for a product as it not only protects you against mosquitoes and flies but it seems to be stronger and it is used against Lyme Disease ticks that we seem to have a lot in New England. It lasts up to 8h, I think more. It has 25% Deet. This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own.

A safe journey into nature

Smells great!
This insect repellent smells great, unlike similar products from other brands. I think it is a great value as well, for the amount you get at that price. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to protect themselves and their family from ticks and other insects. It also repels mosquitos, biting flies, stable flies, black flies, and sand flies. It sprays very evenly. It definitely gives me confidence to go out in the woods or even just my backyard to explore. Another great Off! Product
I have always really liked the Off! product line and this was no exception. The smell isn't super overpowering so it's not like you're bathing in chemicals, which can happen with a lot of bug repellents. I also like the long term level of protection this product provides. I'm not able to find many outdoor repellents for ticks, and they're rather bad in my area since it's a lot of woods, so this product was a definite must buy for me. We get alot of ticks around our area and always go full force in combating them. Everything we go on a trail walk with the kids, this gets sprayed on. Haven’t been finding ticks on my pants. I spray around my boots and the bottom 12” of my pants before hiking. I’ve used it several times while geocaching walking through thick brush, sometimes swampy areas.
