Although the shipping box showed no signs of damage, the metal frame on the table I received was so bent I could barely assemble it. I managed to get the base attached, but there is a noticeable gap between the wood table top and the frame. This table would have been easy to assemble if the base wasn't bent so terribly. The metal frame was already scratched up when I took it out of the box/packaging. I also noticed while putting the base together that the matte black finish scratches very easily - so be careful not to bump the allen wrench against it or you'll take the paint off. I don't have high hopes it will look nice over time, but Target can't/won't do anything for me because I'm outside of their return period. For the price, I expected much higher quality.

Love this table! Beautiful quality and goes perfect in my office. Wish there were matching end tables as well.
