Poor Quality Handle

I was excited to receive this as a gift. Star Wars in the kitchen? Yes please! But be very careful about tapping this on anything to get the last of whatever you're cooking off of it. The handle on mine has splintered and I've tossed it instead of risking getting clear plastic pieces in my food.
