Had a wacky chemical taste. I ordered on pickup. So didn't see the date until I went to eat it. It expired that day. Hoping it was that reason for weird taste. Very small pieces too.

I wanted to treat myself to cheesecake, so by the slice seemed like a good idea. These are ...so so. I've been cutting back on sugar, so I thought "tastes too sweet" may have been just a fault of my tastebuds, but having read the other reviews, agreed. Too sweet. The crust is fine, probably the best part, but is also pretty sweet compared to other cheesecakes I've had. But it really misses on the kinda distinctive cream cheese taste that you expect with cheesecake. I've had fastfood dessert cheesecakes that were better and remained more solid at roomtemp. Next time I might just opt for a frozen Sara Lee.

I should have read the reviews first. It’s creamy and the crust is decent but it has a weird flavor, strange aftertaste. Almost like egg flavor. I won’t buy it again.

I've purchased the two slices of cheesecake from the Target bakery before they changed to the store brand of "Favorite Day." Now that I've tried this new version, I never will again. It is truly terrible. After my first bite, I went to check the packaging to make sure that I hadn't accidentally purchased something that was past its expiration date. It tasted rancid. The texture was nothing like cheesecake and the crust was slimy. I've learned my lesson on this brand for sure.

I've had these before and the recipe must have been changed, but nothing about the taste, texture, crust, anything tastes like cheescake, I couldn't even finish a slice it was downright disgusting. And it was within expiration date as well.

I don’t think I’ve ever tasted a nasty cheesecake…until now. The look and the texture was there, but it didn’t taste like cheesecake. I’ve had cheap, store brand cheesecakes before and they’ve all tasted like cheesecake. This shouldn’t be sold to the public.

Quality-wise, I’d say it’s restaurant-level. Super creamy with a nutty crust. Not too sweet and can be eaten plain. Love love this great value cheesecake fix!
