Garbage
There are many problems with this craft. One, the clay never dries. Two, the lids don’t fit and won’t seal. Three, the glue isn’t thick enough to seal the cracks and keep it from leaking. Since the clay never dries (waited over a week), it turns the water murky right away and then all the murky water leaks out all over. Complete garbage.

Do not buy.
Clay never hardened. My daughter was so excited about these and even planned who she was going to give one away to, but 2 weeks later and the clay still has not dried so we can finish the project and turn them into globes.

The Make Your Own Water Globes craft kits feature non-drying clay. Please note: Our instructions have been updated, removing the need for craft glue and any drying time. The original instructions indicate to "let it dry," this is referring to the glue, not the clay. There is no longer a need to use glue to secure the figurines or wait for them to dry.

Less messy than expected.
Don’t use the packaged glue. Use other super glue…this is less messy than expected. A good 1+ hour craft possible if taking time with the dough. Let it dry overnight before adding water. Would recommend in the $10-15 range. Anything that equals less screen time is a massive win.

Waste of money
A nice idea but clear from the directions that the makers knew this kit cannot be executed fully. The clay doesn’t dry, so there’s no way it can float around in a water globe. My kids were frustrated with this impossible craft.

You'll want to apply a small bit of clay to the bottom of the figurine and score it, and the base where you will adhere it. Then press firmly. We recommend testing by turning the dome upside down and shaking. We're sorry to hear it was a frustrating experience for you.

Expensive trash
Literally the worst thing I've ever bought. Followed directions, but if you know science at all, you know that filling a closed jar with no airflow means the water won't flow in. So we had to get a seringe just to force water inside. Immediately the water got murky, and it looks like trash. Not worth even $5, but I paid $20. I want my money back and my time back. Disappointed daughter and frustrated Mom.

The globes will not fit unless the shallow side without the removable stopper faces upward; that is the side that the clay should be built upon. This detail is listed on the front page of the instructions: Place the base on your workstation with the shallow side facing up. This Is the side you will decorate. Do not decorate the side with the removable stopper. Luckily, you can correct the issue by removing and replacing the clay onto the correct side.

Faulty design
It was enough clay for all 3 globes but it would not seal at all! The plastic clear top was too big for the bottoms. It was dissapointing.

Very fun and creative
Me and my 4 almost 5 year old had so much fun doing this. They turned out so cute. I didn’t have any trouble sealing them, but just did this the other day so not sure how they last overtime. For us this was a great screen time- free evening activity that we really enjoyed so worth the price alone on that basis. Had justtt enough clay would have liked a little more did not have enough to make the taffy rainbow, hence the 4 stars.

Cute but defective
I was having fun making these with my girls and they are really cute! Except for the end when the top of the snowglobe literally WILL NOT seal. So frustrating!

Very hard to glue and seal perfectly. Start to leak overtime.

We do provide drip trays for any small leaks and indicate that they also look great without water added if you choose!

Terrible instructions 😭
It was terrible. I couldn't make it because I didn't know how the instructions were terrible. Also the clay took forever to dry. This toy is a stupid stinker.

Not enough Clay
I bought my 7 year birthday. They give you 5 clay sticks for 3 snow globes and you have to put it the bottom not enough to create the activity. Don't buy!

Crappy present
I gave my 10 yr old granddaughter this for her birthday. Big disappointment. Instructions weren’t clear and it was almost impossible to put together without globe breaking. A waste of time and money.
