[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Interesting concept and pretty easy to use. Some pipping tips were better than others. It dries pretty fast which is good for littles! My daughter definitely liked this for an activity. We did a lot of them but have enough for a second day!

Not worth the price even when bought on sale. Fun and unique concept but not nearly enough paint. Despite different piping tips, all the paint came out as little blobs. Our kit had two green paints and no purple!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kit is such a fun twist on regular painting! The paint tips feel just like the ones used for baking, which made it extra exciting for my kid. They loved “decorating” their art like it was a cake! The whipped paint has a great texture—fluffy and fun to work with—and the different tips added variety. It’s a creative, hands-on activity that kept them engaged and happy.
Satisfying, temporary enjoyment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whipped paint kit is like decorating a cake with various tips to vary the design. It is satisfying and fun. One concern is the paint goes on thick and a small child might go through the whipped paint in one sitting! She had temporary fun with the whipped paints and then was tempted to mix everything together with the paint brush, which she did. I think this is better suited to older kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Crayola Whipped Paint Kit was a big hit with my 6- and 10-year-old, especially because they were able to turn it into a Minecraft-inspired activity. They used the puffy paint to create 3D creeper faces, blocky swords, and pixel-style grass blocks, and were so excited that the paint dried raised—almost like real in-game textures. The whipped texture reminded them of “placing” blocks, and the different tips made it easy to outline shapes or fill them in with fun squishy strokes. As a parent, I loved that the paint stayed where they put it, didn’t drip everywhere, and gave them a way to bring their Minecraft creativity into real-world art.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used the Crayola Whipped Paint Art Kit during a family art day, and it was amazing! The consistency is fluffy like frosting, and the tools are similar to what you’d use for cake piping. This was perfect for the two who love to “play bakery”, it dries nicely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids excitement (6 and 4 y/o) didn’t last long with this one. It can be difficult for kids to pipe so it ended up being one big blob of whipped paint on top of a paper. I do see how it can help with motor skills, but like I said my kids lost interest quickly. I guess this would appeal more to kids that are into decorating cookies and cakes. It also takes a bit for the paint to dry so it can get messy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great alternative to regular paint that can get messy fairly quickly. The vibrant colors are perfect for toddler art. The only negative is that it's hard for my toddler to squeeze even with both hands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a clever product, it allows for decorating using “whipped paint” (texture of whipped cream) and different decorative tips! It comes with fun dessert outlines of various sweet treats. My 3 year old needed some help setting up the paint tubes at first, but she was very familiar with squeezing and it was fun watching her create her baked goodies without the actual mess - only downside is that this is not edible!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We tried Crayola Whipped Paint with our 4 and 6 year olds, and it was an instant hit! From the moment they opened the package, their eyes lit up with excitement. The texture is super fun, fluffy, vibrant, and easy to use which made the whole experience feel more like play than craft time. What truly set it apart was the 3D aspect of the paint. Watching their artwork literally pop off the page was magical for them. It sparked so much imagination, and they were fully engaged from start to finish. Whether they were creating swirly rainbows or abstract masterpieces, it was amazing to see their creativity come to life in such a tactile, hands on way. This would make a fantastic gift for any young artist and is definitely something we’ll be using again. Highly recommended for fun, mess friendly, and wonderfully creative playtime!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These markers come in such a cute box, would be great to give as a gift. My 2 & 5 year olds are a little young for these as they didn’t understand the different between these and regular markers. They pressed down pretty hard and did not take care of the nice points. As an adult I do enjoy these markers. Great for drawing and outlining items. I would recommend for a teen present if they are interested in art.
Amazing for Creative Play—but Stains are Tough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is really into decorating cakes, so this Crayola Whipped Paint Kit was perfect for her! The texture of the paint is fluffy and fun—just like frosting—and she absolutely loved swirling the colors and creating her own “dessert” masterpieces on paper. It was such a great way for her to channel that interest in a creative (and safe!) way. She had an amazing time, and it kept her entertained for a long while. The kit is easy to use, comes with fun tools, and encourages both creativity and sensory exploration. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because she accidentally got some paint on her shirt, and I haven’t been able to remove the stain, even after washing. So just a heads-up to wear play clothes or an apron while using it. Overall, though, it’s a fantastic kit and I would still recommend it—just with a little extra mess-prep!

Hi, Andrea. We are thrilled to hear how much your daughter enjoyed the Crayola Whipped Paint Kit—especially how it inspired her creativity and gave her a fun, safe way to explore her love for cake decorating! But it sounds like that creativity got messy! We are sorry about the stain you encountered. As noted on the packaging, Crayola Whipped Paint contains colorants that may stain clothing and surfaces. Our Research & Development team recommends the following cleaning method, though results may vary, so please test in a small area first. For Dry Paint: • Saturate the area with warm water and dish soap. • Gently scrape off excess paint with a dull knife. • Scrub in a circular motion using a soft-bristle brush. • Wipe with a cloth to lift loosened paint. • Repeat as needed until no more colorant is removed. • For launderable fabrics, run it through a standard wash cycle with laundry detergent on the hottest temperature the material can withstand. Do not include unstained garments in the wash cycle. • Repeat as needed and avoid heat-drying until satisfactory results are achieved. Heat can set the stain. We hope this helps and that your daughter continues to enjoy many more colorful creations!

Crayola Whipped Paint is a fantastic creative tool for artists of all ages. My children and I had a wonderful time using it together—it made our art sessions both fun and engaging. The set includes 5 whipped paint tubes, 15 paint tips, 3 punch-outs, and 10 coloring pages, offering plenty of materials to spark creativity. What makes this product stand out is its unique 3D painting experience. The light, fluffy texture of the whipped paint allows kids to create artwork that dries in 3D, adding a whole new dimension to their creations. Each tube comes with three different decorating tips, which allow for a variety of artistic effects and make the painting process feel similar to decorating a cake. In terms of mess, we found it to be significantly cleaner than traditional paints. It doesn’t drip or run, staying where you place it—a major plus for parents. It also offers a sensory-rich activity that kids can enjoy on a variety of surfaces. Safe and non-toxic, it’s perfect for young artists aged 5 and up. Whether for birthdays, holidays, or everyday creativity, this paint set makes a thoughtful and enjoyable gift for both boys and girls.
