We're sorry to hear of your disappointment with this consumer favorite. Please note, the included paint is a specially formulated, water-based, weather resistant acrylic that works best/brightest over a rock base coat of white. Layering may be needed to achieve the opaque level you desire.

We're sorry to hear of the difficulties you are experiencing. Please make sure you've applied the glow paint to a fully dried/cured rock and have "charged" the spots with a bright or blue light. They will produce a subtle glow for a short time, but will require re-charging and eventually may fade.

Big hit!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a hit with my kids and it kept them entertained for hours! They especially loved the glow in the dark paint that comes in the tubes to make it easier to draw. My only gripe is that some of the rocks it came with weren't great for painting on (very round and lumpy), while others were perfectly smooth and flat. The only reason this is even a complaint is because my kids fought over who got to paint the nicer rocks haha.

The creative process is a key component of this kit - it is a true "open ended creative experience". A piece of Swiss cheese, the moon or a dish of ice cream for a bumpy rock. A broken rock can be a cookie with a bite taken out of it. Paint a face on a smaller rock etc. The fun possibilities are endless!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old could not WAIT to open this rock painting activity. My son, who is 5 and not nearly as into art, was ready to paint some rocks too. This was a pleasant surprise. There was plenty inside the box to keep them both busy for quite sometime. There’s plenty of paint for later too, if they feel like finding their own rocks. My only complaint is the paint is quite thin so it takes a few coats to make the rocks as vibrant as the box depicts. Luckily it dries fast! Overall, I’m happy with this product and would recommend.

Kids had a blast but added some of their own paint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My youngest has been asking every day since finding out that I got a glow in the dark rock paint kit from Influenster in exchange for our review when it would show up. So the day it did, we had to open it up and let her and her sister paint away. They thought the acrylic paint color selection was small and did not include as many colors as they wanted so they got out some additional acrylic paint that we already had. Luckily the tubes of glow paint were larger than the small acrylic pots, and they had plenty of that. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was for them to work with the glow paint tubes to get the designs they wanted. When they were done, we let them sit in the light for a while and then took them into a dark room. The glow was impressive. I tried to photo it, but it does look better in person. I am always doubtful of craft kits, but was very happy with the results of this one. Thank you Influenster!

Please note that the paint included in the kit is a specially formulated, weather-resistant water-based acrylic that differs from regular acrylic paint, which may not adhere or fade over time.

My twin girls split them up & painted them - then made a cute little landscape design around their trampoline in the backyard! They glow in the dark so it gives it a nice aesthetic summer vibe at night time!
