Minka fans worst fans on the market!
I purchases 3 Minka Roto 52 in fans for my 3 bedrooms. All 3 were installed professionally by my home builder. One fan works well but two others have been returned twice with defective capacitors and motors. I am awaiting my third shipment of 2 new fans. If these fail again I will move on to a new fan manufacturer. I should have paid closer attention to the reviews of this fan where other people have reported similar issues. I have never had such an experience like this with other fans. Stay away from Minka until these apparently manufacturing issues are addressed.

Nice looking fan with. Few issues
The fan looks great. I have a sloped ceiling and also ordered the special adapter. There are 2 issues with the fan: The wall mounted switch doesn't seem well built. It is hard to move to different settings; and my fan periodically makes noise like it is out of balance. This is normally resolved by turns my the fan to high speed and then to low speed after a few minutes.

Will be replacing 3 more ceiling fans this this one.
My wife and I are delighted with this ceiling fan. I called Minka Aire service with a few questions prior to the installation and they were very helpful. The installation was straight forward and the fan is quiet and cosmetically clean and simple while looking great.
