52" Minka Aire Light Wave Distressed Koa Indoor Ceiling Fan Handheld Remote Control for Living Room Bedroom Kitchen Dining

My old Minka Aire of 20 years stopped working. Read the reviews for the Light Wave and decided to go with it. It's a beautiful fan, hangs a little lower than the Acero I had, but that's not a problem. Some of the reviews mentioned that it makes a noise at higher speeds. I have no problems, it is quiet and moves the air well. Highly recommend.

These are very tricky to install we, bought three fans and the Bluetooth connection between fan and remote are the same with each fan. We purchased three, have been only able to get two working

Very nice fan. I wish it had more than 3 speeds. Hums on all speeds but not loud enough to be an issue. Moves enough air for a bedroom.

Beautiful lamp and fan and works really well but the motor does make a bit of an annoying buzzing sound. We have two. Might replace them eventually or might keep them long term.

Eleven years ago I bought three Minka ceiling fans. They've been fantastic. One started making horrible clicking noises, and it was determined to be the motor. The model I have is no longer being sold, so I bought this one. I'm very happy to have a fan in my bedroom again. I really like the way this one looks and it moves air well. This fan is not as up-scale as my previous fan. Lamps Plus has another koa fan with the features I wanted, but I did not like the style. This fan does not have an automatic reverse, so I'll have to ask my tall son to make the switch twice a year. There is a slight hum when it is on, but only very slight. It also makes a clicking sound when turning on and off. If I hadn't owned the other totally quiet fans, I would think nothing of these noises. I have other lights in my room so I seldom use the light. I agree with the statements I've read that the light works more like a spot light. Also, I have the light set to a lower lighting; when I turn it on, it starts off high, then goes to the lower lighting. If I used it all the time, that would be annoying. I would want it to start at the lower lighting.

Beautiful, well built, and quiet.. not much more you can ask from a ceiling fan. Delivery was very quick too.

I bought the Minka Air light wave '44 because it fit in w my 2 60 inch Monte Calo fans in an adjoining room. I've had it just over a year and when I reversed it for summer noticed it spins much slower on high speed and it hums. The humming is not a problem since the fan is in the dining room. But the speed is a disappointment. I live in North Texas. Minka air sent a new capacitor and receiver but I have to hire a repairman to replace the parts. I wonder if this is an annual repair.

Complete trash.. wanted to like this fan as I liked the look. Once hung and on it makes a rattling noise at any speed. Save yourself and stay away. Just buy a hunter

The style and look of this piece is great. It moves a lot of air. It puts out a lot of light.
