Matchbox Action Drivers Matchbox Fire Station Rescue Playset

If your kid loves fire trucks like mine does they will love this. The only thing I’d say is the the speakers on this toy are super loud so maybe place a piece of tape over the speaker.

For $20, my almost six year old was immediately excited about this Easter gift. Great quality. As advice to other parents though...this thing is LOUD. I put several layers of tape over the speaker.

My 4 y/o hit the fire station for his birthday. I love that it hooks up to the paragraph garage and gas station that we already own. Then some cheap tracks from Hot wheels to make roads and a town. My boys play with them all day. They keep asking for a police station. Please make that your next set!!!

This Fire Station Playset is super cute. Great sound and movement features and love that it can connect to other sets in the Action Drivers line. Not quite as cool as the Airport set, but definitely still loads of fun!

Easy to build. Wish it was a tad bigger and had more interactive objects to hold the attention span of the child longer. Note to parents: do not let your kid pound on the button to activate the sirens and sounds..it will loosen the wires in side!

Bought these for Christmas for my Kids and they love them, and I love them as well. great playsets that are built very well. Hoping you guys make more for a City. Please add a construction site, a POLICE Station, a Bridge structure, and a dump truck/ city works station. Please!

This Matchbox play set is neat. It makes sound and you can pretend the fireman “put out” the fire on the training tower. Easy to put together too.

My son is obsessed with this! He loves police, firetruck and rescue vehicles and is amazed to have his own Fire station for his cars! Very cute! Toddler approved!

Perfect for a kid. Grandson loved this. I purchased extra cars to go with this so my grandson could fill the bays.

My 3 yr old grandson loves this. Glad someone came out with something that has a garage and garage doors. Kids loves to open and close and put cars in and out. He hasnt stopped playing with it. We also bought the Helicopter Rescue Play set and it attaches to the fire station. Going to buy more that attach. Highly recommend. I will say a little disappointed in the Helicopter Rescue set because it makes no noise like the fire station.

Love this, along with the hospital and gas station. I hope and pray that more realistic play sets like these are in the works to connect with this and the two sets. Hopefully a police station and construction site! Please, Mattel. These are the best playsets I've ever seen - we need a bit more a city to connect!

This is the best little playset. Easy assembling. Bought for my Grandson. It’s his favorite toy. He really enjoys playing with all his matchbox cars and this playset

My 5 year old grandson is matchbox/hot wheels crazy! He loves them all. This playset was such a hit with him, he hasn’t played with any of his other presents! It’s his new fav. He loves all of the different things that it does. Great gift, great buy!

The features, such as lights, dispatch voice sounds and being able to connect to other me matchbox play sets are really cool. It keeps him engaged and entertained for at least an hour on most occasions. He’s already looking forward to getting more matchbox sets to connect it to!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this to my son for Christmas. He really enjoyed putting it together and playing with it for about an hour on Christmas. Since then we have played with it a few times. We do not have a lot of Hot Wheels and the only sets we have came from you guys. This is prompting me to look for more because he would like to expand his town. He also got the Mystery Machine Hot Wheel car in his stocking and had a lot of fun playing with it and the Fire truck on the roads.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this set a really fun addition for the little ones in your life that are into Matchbox cars and firefighters. A major plus for a toy like this was the packaging. The cardboard box was easy to get into and completely recyclable. The plastic packaging inside was also recyclable in our area. The only non-recyclable items were the small parts bag and the plastic fasteners. Assembly took us 15 minutes. Two things to be aware of that could be improved. The first is that there is a small set of somewhat small stickers that need to be applied to the set prior to assembly. The second is that some pieces - marked with a star in the instructions - are one-shot installs. Once you put them in they'll never come back out, so be sure you get it the way you want before you insert them. Our daughter absolutely loved the included fire truck. It it well built, rolls great, and is easy for small hands to handle. The set would really benefit from the addition of a second included fire truck. The packaging shows a second fire truck, and further the included voice/audio queues specifically mention sending "Engine 1 and Engine 2" in some call outs. My 4 year old has repeatedly asked where "Engine 2" was. The packaging also shows other emergency vehicles like an ambulance and fire helicopter. We wish we could purchase those in a single set to augment this playset. The set offers connectivity to other Hot Wheels and Matchbox sets, which has been hit and miss for us. Ironically our Matchbox garage doesn't really connect to this set, but our Hot Wheels garage does. Your mileage may vary with other components that you own from both brands that could connect to this. Our daughter loves the set. She enjoys following the audio queues, and returning the fire truck to the station to re-supply with water, gas, etc between calls. She does run into two small problems when playing with it. The first is that sometimes the garage door opens and the audible queue/alarm doesn't go off. It also sometimes requires more downward force than she usually applies when playing with the cars. The second is that the fire truck essentially gets stuck inside the training tower for her. Basically her fingers are too small to push the fire truck all the way through, so unless she gives it a good push to send it through the truck gets stuck and she needs to bump it out with another car. All in all a really fun Matchbox set that our firefighter loving daughter has enjoyed playing with for hours.
