Grandson loves it but we must have bought a defective one. When in lands on green it won't launch the car out we have to push it. The plastic piece won't go down allowing the car to move.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Matchbox city sets are a lot of fun. This car wash connects to the other Matchbox city sets. It has a little elevator and car wash tube in the center that spins. The car goes inside, you pull the lever to spin the tube and when it shows clean it comes out the other side and down the ramp. My kids love the elevator and the little lifts underneath. The tow truck and the corvette are nice additions to the set as well.

The car gets stopped in the carwash area and is only released when it becomes "clean", which happens when you pull the lever. It's a fairly interactive toy and holds a good amount of interest. You can also have other cars at the mechanic while playing with the car wash, they can get new tires, or worked on, etc.

This set took time to assemble. Not to hard. The stickers were fun to put on. This set is pretty neat. You put the car through what looks like a real"car" wash with 3 cycles. Then it goes down to the bottom. You have to launch it through the wash. It's fun to press the spin. It has a few vehicle repair stations at the bottom. I think this would entertain and hold a child's attention for quite a while. It held mine for a bit! I thoroughly enjoy launching matchbox cars!! Well built set! Took a small amount of time for set up. Kept me entertained for a bit and has so many things to play with. It came with a tow truck and matchbox Corvette! Which was a bonus! The spin and launch are very fun to use! The set isn't heavy but it's sturdy for lots of play time! Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kept my son’s attention very well. Comes with most of the stickers already on the pieces which helped minimize the time of building it. It was easy to put together and hasn’t broken apart like other tracks.

This is a fun, interactive toy. My 5 yo loves all things cars, and this was a great toy that he played with for a while. I loved the washing feature, and the various height to make the cars go down.

There are different stations that the car can travel through making it possible for multiple kids to play at once. The only negative thing was that the cars would get stuck in the circular wash tube. It may be difficult for younger kids to crank the lever hard enough for the car to pass through.

Spinner for car wash works and they love the lever to start the race down the ramp. Very basic car toy that my kids love! Durable and fun! It took a bit of time to put the stickers on, but the car wash itself was fairly simple to put together. It has a little elevator that can lift the cars up and then they go down the track. One of my son's favorite features is the car wash part that you push down on the handle and it spins. We did have a few issues of the car getting stuck in the carwash and the handle getting stuck so you couldn't pull it. It was pretty simple to fix though by pushing the black piece down that is in the car wash. They also like the little garage and the lifts at the bottom. It's also nice that is a track also and not just a carwash.

The instructions weren't hard to follow but it did require reading and an adult. Once together, it stays together well. The set has so many different areas for pretend. It has a tire area, lift, garage with a door that opens, elevator, and more. The car wash requires no water. A lover turns the tube. Once the clean screen appears, the car with go down the ramps to the service area. It includes a car and wrecker. Other diecast cars work great with the set. The kids love the parking spaces. They have spent hours playing with this. The only drawback is that it does not fold up when they are done playing. I had to find an area to keep it. I do love this and think it's a great toy for both boys and girls.

It has quite a few pieces to put together but the instructions are very clear. All the parts seem very durable and bright! My kids played with it for hours. The lever to start the spinner is easy to push, the car goes right through it making it very realistic. This is is a great addition to my kids city they built.

He pretends he opens a real garage door or that he is changing tires at the tire repair shop. the elevator, the lift gate and of course the most important part: The carwash that is a spinning tumble he operates with a lever. It has all the stages drawn in the tube and he pretends it's washing until it lands on green and the car is clean. This set also connects to other matchbox sets

It took a while to put together, but after finally getting the pieces in place, it turned my 5 year old into a car wash attendant. Great detail, and quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves this set! She enjoys "cleaning" the cars and "fixing them up" to get them ready to race! After leaving the carwash, the car zooms right down the track. This set adds some extra storytelling to go with racing the cars, like being able to tow them to be fixed and cleaned up. It is larger than I expected, but it has lots of parking spots to add your own cars. I appreciate that it included two vehicles! There's a mechanic's tow truck and a race car. It took maybe 15 minutes to assemble, with most of that time being to add all of the decals. Definitely follow the directions order-wise and apply the decals first because a few are hard to apply once everything is put together. My only complaint with this set is a minor one - the decals that were already applied in the set weren't applied well and had bubbles under the sticker, but that isn't a huge deal for us. Overall, it is a very fun toy that will get a lot of use!
