The danish was stale and crumbly. Even warming it up as directed did not soften the pastry. Usually these are very soft and delicious. I was very disappointed. I purchased it through home delivery so I had no ability to preview the item.

The other reviews are spot on. No taste of cheese at all, and bread is a little stale tasting even though sticker shows another week still to go. Definitely skip this even though it looks so pretty.

Do not get any bakery items on drive up or pickup order. They will give you the old ones. The one they gave me was 2 days from expiring. It was hard and I had to throw it away. A waste of money.

I bought this on 12/29 with a 1/3 freshness date sticker on the package. It was stale - hard as a hockey puck! Not only that, the cheese filling was totally missing!!! I cut it at the end, hoping to enjoy my first slice, and saw no cheese filling. So, then I decided to to cut through the middle to see if any was there - still, zero filling! C'mon Target bakery - please do better. Wish I could give zero stars like the zero filling and zero freshness.

I saw this at the store and grabbed it on impulse as it sounded tasty. I have had fruit danish and cheese danish but rarely both together. When I got it home I cut it in 2 pieces to freeze it and didn't see any cheese. I cut myself a piece from the center to taste it. No cheese whatsoever. Very dissapointing. Not getting this again.

Too much Bread Not Enough Filling Plus the thing was D, R, Y, as heck. Absorbed all the moisture out of my mouth in an instant. Took work to finally swallow it. It’s edible so it’s got that going for it I guess. Ate two pieces, threw it out and went to go find an atleast mediocre grocery store danish.

Disgusting, so dry would make you choke. Tag said best by 9/20... wondering what year? NOTHING like grocery store bakery ones of Entenmanns ones. No flavor almost all dry cake. Don't waste your time or money.

Not sure why the bad reviews. I love it. It’s just the right amount of sweet, and flakiness which to me is perfection. I hear it up in the microwave a few seconds and enjoy with almond milk or coffee.
