Simply Clean Pleated Comforter Set - Serta

I wanted to love this. I read through a ton of the good and bad reviews first. I’ve been through so many white comforters over the last two years and this one is going back like the others. If you don’t have kids, animals, don’t occassionally eat in bed, and never wash your comforter then it will be fine, but I wash mine 2 times a month (which I don’t think is that much) and the inside of this has not held up. First wash it was okay, second wash it was a little worse, but I haven’t even had it 3 months and the inside is all balled up after taking it out of the dryer. I’m very particular with my laundry, have a large capacity washer, wash it per the instructions with nothing else in the washer and it’s just not been great. I have to spend 20 mins at least trying to go through it and unball the inside lining and it’s still lumpy especially around the edges. Plus the king size cannot be pulled to the top of the bed or it’s short at the foot of the bed. Unless you have a mattress less than 10 inches you will have this problem at this size. The material is great because the wrinkles fall out pretty easily and the stitching has held together fine, which was a concern of mine because several others I’ve had fall apart. But overall the small size and lumpy lining is something I cannot get over. Honestly you get what you pay for I guess.

It’s very soft and light. Not thick comforter. Only dislike was the price. $40 for this is too much.

Looks cute but I don’t care for the material as much. I thought the fabric would be a little thicker or stiffer. It’s very soft and looks nice but wasn’t quite the feel I was expecting.

This is flimsy material, so wrinkled I had to spend a half hour trying to press it out to see whether we liked it. It still looked a mess just trying to fold it out on the bed after ironing.

Very cozy & fluffy! Pintuck design is not very pronounced. But pretty shade of blue and it feels like I’m sleeping in a cloud!

Feels like a T shirt and is very soft, exactly what I was looking for. I’ve washed them and haven’t had any issues.

The white one was Very thin and cheap looking wouldn’t recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a 7pc queen set. 2 shams, 2 pillow cases, flat and fitted sheet, and comforter. The sheets are pretty thin. Once I put them on my bed I could see my mattress through the sheet. The comforter is not too thick. The pleat design isnt the best.

It comes with a comforter, 2 standard shams, a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, and 2 pillowcases. The sheets are white with a grey design all over them. They are super cute and match the comforter and shams really well. The sheets are more of a silkier feel than the comforter, even though it’s all polyester. The sizing is all great, the sheets were super easy to get on the bed and they stay on the bed. The sheets and pillowcases are made well. The comforter, on the other hand, has some lumps and weird stitching, the embellished aspect is super cute but it seems like it’s been stitched to the batting wrong because it’s very lumpy in some spots. There are also some runs in the fabric. These sheets are not my personal favorite to sleep in, I like cotton sheets but my husband likes the feel of the polyester. He says they are silky and cool. I find them not breathable at all. The comforter is super nice though, it’s not too thick or heavy, it will be perfect for year-round sleeping. I do like that everything is completely machine washable and dryable. I washed the sheets in their own load and the comforter separate but they all fit in my XL top loading washing machine with no problems. The comforter also dried completely on the first load. They do all wrinkle when left in the dryer so it’s best to remove promptly if you don’t want it all wrinkled. All in all, this set is okay, it has some problems, but it functions well.

The details and color work great with my bedroom. Everything washes well. The sheet set is soft and didn't wrinkle too much when it came out of the dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am ALWAYS needing new bedding sets; especially with having 2 cats and 2 dogs. Between their shedding and how dirty they get the bed, especially when the dogs insist on getting up in the bed right after coming in from playing outside, we are constantly having to wash and change our bedding and frequently buy new bedding. I really like this set. This set came with a comforter, 2 pillow cases, 2 pillow shams (which feel more like pillow cases), a fitted sheet and a flat sheet. The sheets are a different material then I am used to, but it seems like, they have been keeping us a little cooler than like regular cotton sheets. I love the contrast of the sheets with the comforter and the comforter is comforter to cover up with. Another thing I love about this set, is that it looks really nice, but doesn't look overly fancy as though it belongs in the home of someone that is well off financially or in some expensive hotel. I think this bed set is just the perfect touch to add to any room and I think the colors go with just about any color decor.
