This rug is a dark tan color, not ivory, and the gray is more blue than gray. It also has metallic silver tinsel running through the whole thing, making it shimmer. The blue I can live with, but I never would have bought this rug if I knew about the shiny silver tinsel or that it’s at least 5 shades darker than what is show in the picture.

I was very disappointed when I received this because it did not look like the website photos. It has a shimmery/glittery line throughout the rug, and that is not shown at all in the pictures nor description.

I did not read the reviews prior to purchasing, so the silver thread was a huge surprise. Once I got it laid out I ended up really liking it. It is thin but I wanted something with a very low pile and I think this fits that description quite well! The texture is great—mine got stained (and ruined) 1 month after purchasing so now I get to buy it again. Definitely add on a protection plan.

I don't really see this piece being used in a living room... it looks better as an outdoor option (for like a sitting area in a patio by the pool) or as a stand alone rug in a hall or something... and preferably you have wood floors. (It just didn't look well with my porcelain tile.) It is more casual chic. As other commentators stated, it has silver thread running through it (which I found added to elevate the look of it a bit). It is very thin. More like a mat than a rug. It was a pretty rug and the material seemed fine, but not what I was looking for to bring my space together.

Overall, I'm happy with this rug. I purchased it before there were any reviews -- and now I know not to do that again. This rug has a silver thread that runs through it that's not clear in the display photo. If someone else had let me know that, I wouldn't have chosen this rug. It's not super obvious and I think this rug will work just fine for my needs, but it should be clearer in the photos and descriptions. The gray color is on the cooler side of the spectrum; not quite a blue-gray, but it's a very cool gray. The white is closer to a natural or a winter white, it's a very warm neutral white. I ran my robot vacuum over the rug on day one and I don't think there are going to be any issues with vacuuming the textured stripes. I believe this rug is a good value for the price and it will serve our home well.

This area rug has a lot of sheen to it with tinsel interweaved. I would have liked the lighter color to be less yellow/ cream and more on the white / gray side also
