My only regret is that I didn’t buy this rug sooner! I ended up with the 5x7 size, but really could have went with a bigger size. I layered it over a jute rug, and I just love the look. This rug is very cozy, soft under foot, laid flat right away, and quite thick. I’ve had other “shag” rugs that are patchy and thinned out feeling. This one is not patchy at all and looks very expensive. Also, I have a shark vacuum and it vacuums easily (also a plus). I hope they restock this in the larger sizes again! I have three kids plus one on the way- def feel like this is a cozy spot for them to sit and play.

I never got the pad that I bought to go under it. I really like the rug it’s beautiful and seems well made.

I don't understand all the good reviews. I can only assume they are fake because the rug I received is not soft and not thick. It's uncomfortable and unpleasant to walk on because the fibers are sparsely woven into the backing so what you feel is the rough backing material. I can actually see the backing from above because there's a lot of areas with no fibers. Also, another review mentioned no off-gassing but mine has been off-gassing so badly it's been causing my family headaches and dizziness for days. Not sure if I received a defective rug because I'm waiting to hear from the customer service. So do yourself a favor and do not waste your money or time on this rug.
