    kindful cat food

    I would give this product a negative 0 if I could it made my cat very sick and made her puke nonstop. I had to stop feeding it to her. it was very scary and not only caused me worry but my poor cat had to go through all this please be careful do not buy

    CAUSES KIDNEY ISSUES

    Like many of the other reviews this food caused my cat to have kidney stones and urinary crystals and a trip to the emergency vet. Avoid this food!!!

    Shame on target, stop selling this product it causes life threatening issues for cats and qhckly

    My cat like many others posted here ended up in the emergency vet with bladder blockage and urine crystals. It was weeks after starting this food. He is a picky eater and seemed to like the flavor so I bought a second bag and within days of that purchase. Shame on target for continuing to produce and sell this product.

    Could cause urinary issues in your cats

    Noticed that in a short amount of time of switching to this BRAND KINDFUL my two stray cats a male and female started having issues with urinating. It was awful to see them always trying to urinate but they couldn't. This is very costly and even could have ended really badly for these poor cats. Do not recommend feeding this to your cats! Had to get them on a prescription very expensive cat food.

    Heed the warnings about kidney problems!

    I was feeding our four (neutered) cats the Kindfull kibble for over a year, then they starting peeing/spraying everywhere in our house; but they continued to use the litter boxes. I then read a warning on reddit about Kindfull causing kidney problems in cats. I switched to a C's warehouse brand of cat food and while the inappropriate peeing continued, I read up on what I could do about their kidney problems. We already had cat fountains, so they already drank enough water; then I read about unsalted chicken broth helping to flush the crystals from their kidneys. I bought the Good & Gather No Salt Added Chicken Stock and gave a small bowl of that as a treat everyday for the cats - they loved it. Three weeks later, all the inappropriate urinating outside of the litter has stopped.

    avoid

    causes urinary issues. found out the hard way. unfortunately they are deleting reviews on this and all related kindfull products to raise the overall review rating on their items. dont be fooled and do research. people have kept receipts (screenshots) shame on target. shame on kindfull. you should be caring about your customers and taking effort to better the products sold in your store - especially when it is being marketed as 'your own' brand
