Looks great. Gives off a bit of heat, but wish it gave off more.

Everything works fine as expected with the exception of the remote, it will not work and needs to be replaced.

I own a freestanding stove by the same company, so I knew the "flame" would be very realistic looking - and it is! Recently bought a home with a cute fireplace but didn't want to deal with wood, ash, soot, smoke, etc. When looking at inserts on line and found this one with a brand I know, at a good price, I went for it. It's adorable in my fireplace and with closed wrought iron doors it actually adds a bit of cozy heat. The remote is handy and the various flame/light/heat combinations are fun to try out. It's a bit small, but my fireplace is arch-shaped so the larger version was too tall on the sides. I simply moved the unit all the way to the front of the grate and it looks great. My contractor found a way to drill a hole in the exterior brick surround so we could thread the power cord through it, and added a discreet outlet nearby. I love it and would definitely recommend.

I don't normally write reviews, but I want to save others my hassle of purchasing and returning. The description did not make it clear to me that the flame will only appear on a large, clear plastic frame that one has to attach to the logs. Once I did, I found it impossible to look at the flames without noticing the big circular piece of plastic that surrounded it. The whole thing had to be returned. :-( So disappointed.

Insert in an existing fireplace for supplemental heat. Works perfect. Quite realistic looking.

It was a good fireplace as far as looking real but it just didn’t give out enough heat when we were sitting right next to it.

When gas was abandoned in our condo, the gas log sets were useless. The 20 inch Revillusion fit inside the existing enclosure after removing the log set. Really looks good, and the heat supplements a large room nicely. Makes the fireplace useful again without the stuffy gas fumes.

I like it very much, it is looking great in my old fireplace box. The heat is good just enough to take chill out of the seating area �

I ordered the electric logs for my sister's new mobile home fireplace. We all love the electric logs and the fire is very realistic.

Just received a few days ago. Looks so real. The one thing that bothered me was the light reflection on the edge of plastic. I read what Donna did and did the same thing. Just colored edge with a black permanent marker. To my surprise it actually worked. Thanks Donna

LOVE IT! The flames look like gas flames instead of a projection. I researched quite a bit and for the price this is awesome! When the room is really dark and the fire logs on it looks like a real fire. The heat is pretty nice for the size room I have it in. Would DEFIN recommend it - maybe I will get the next size up to use in my upstairs fireplace.

A set of ventless gas logs were replaced because using them more tan 2 hours set off the carbon monoxide detector. The RLG20 arrived in 2 days in perfect condition. First impression was they were light and too small. The logs are 16 inches wide. The plastic screen that sits in the middle of the unit is 24 inches wide. Unpacking and set up was surprisingly simple and fast. We are very pleased with how good they look. It makes you feel warmer without the heat. Turning heater on really warms you fast. Remote control works very well. You have to learn the beep feedback codes to know which of the 3 heat settings you are on. The flame brightness settings don't make much difference. Do not know why you would ever use the back light feature. Very pleased with this purchase.

I am so happy with this purchase! I researched converting my wood-burning fireplace to gas which was going to be $6000-$10,000! No thank you. I ran across the idea of replacing the entire fireplace insert with an electrical insert and considered that, Although it was complicated by having to remove and replace the entire box. Then I saw that I could just buy the "logs and fire" and place them right inside the existing insert. this brand appeared to have the most realistic looking fire. It really does look so realistic! For about 3% of the price of converting to gas, I have exactly what I was looking for, a realistic looking fire to cozy up my room, and even a little heat if I want it. My only regret is that maybe I should have gotten the bigger one. 

So far it is as advertised. The fake flames are as described. The price was good. No negatives at this time

Best purchase of 2020! After much procrastination, I purchase the Dimplex log set as a Christmas gift to the family. We have lived in our home for 18 years and never used the fireplace for all the usual reasons. I have received so many compliments on the authentic look and feel of the fireplace. The optical illusion flames and heat settings make this purchase well worth the money.

Had to install propane to be able to use the fireplace in new house. Decided to try the electric logs. Love how realistic the flame looks. It is also able to he used with or without the heater. So easy. Just had to plug in to use it. So cozy. Very happy with this purchase. Wish I could upload video but only allows a picture. #lovemyelectricfirelogs #sweepstakes

Love it! It fit perfectly in my fireplace. I have lived in my apartment for a very long time, now I think to myself, why did I wait so long to do this? I have high ceilings and the heater is perfect for the days when you don't need the heat on. It takes the damp and chilliness out of the room. I would highly recommend it.

Super easy to install, provides ample heat for our living room/kitchen area. Looks very nice, would definitely recommend!
