The Hidden Cost of Brilliance
The seal on these products are regrettably the first thing to fail. I recently spoke with an agent from Rubbermaid and was told the lids with these failing seals on such an expensive item cannot be purchased separately, especially the glass version. Replacing the entire container to get a new lid becomes rather expensive for a known failure.

Lids are awful
I thought I would love these containers since they stack well, are clear and leak proof. Unfortunately, I have bought quite a few and the lids are always cracking in the middle and there is no option to just purchase lids. I’ve wasted so much money on these and they only last a short time. The container has been fine but I have no lids for them anymore so I’m moving on to another brand.

Good for Air Sealed Coffee
I specifically purchased this particular container because I was looking for something that would hold my ground coffee and keep it airtight. I like to buy affordable coffee or coffee on clearance and mix them together to have a blend just for me to use for my hot and iced coffee. It cleaned so beautifully when I received it and it tried so well. I was able to mix three different types of coffee in which the seal is incredible. You can hear the seal on it and then just the handles on the side to close it up all the way it's just when I need to keep my coffee fresh. As I continue to look for more affordable or even clearance coffee, I want to mix them in this container to keep my coffee fresh as well as enjoying the different blends of coffee. For reference, this container was able to hold two 8 oz bags of coffee. I really like the shape of the container because you are able to just see the coffee and it's clear state.

I like it came in different sizes, the weight is great because it looks like Cristal clear but isn’t… and the durability is also ok. I have been using them since more than a year and they looks like new… I only wash them with water and soap avoiding the dishwasher.

Keeps food fresh longer
These containers are very useful for storing food. They close tightly and keep everything fresh for a long time. I like that they are clear and easy to stack. Very convenient for everyday use. Highly recommend.

Great in theory but the lids and snap-ons are cheap plastic that broke pretty easily. Bought 6 a few years ago, some plastic broke immediately, so there’s broke as time went on with minimal use. The lids don’t fit properly so it’s hard to close on. If you order shipping, be prepared that some of the plastic lids will arrive cracked already.

This cereal container is very good because my granddaughter opens the box she just rips it so this container is very useful the capacity is just right the plastic is very durable and strong I find it works well plus you can see what cereal is in the container if you have extra cereal containers I have 4 that's how much I like this product

Great product!
I love these!! Are lightweight, airtight and attractive! I have been using them daily for well over a year. Two cracked- perhaps due to high dishwasher heat. I would love to replace them without the wasting the lids - which are still good. Please make separate pieces available for sale!

Terrible fit
I have many other containers, but the last two 4.7 cup containers do not fit the bottoms and lids. Have to use a screwdriver to pry the lid off thr container. Problem with size!!!

Space saving and stackable
I've been using these storage containers for a couple years now and they do not stain. I have some in glass and some plastic. The lids are all plastic and fit both materials. The seal is excellent and I can marinate food and flip it over without liquid spilling. They stack neatly in the fridge and the rectangular shape helps avoid wasted space. The lids click lock and have vent holes for heating without removal. This can be good, but also bad. The lid sits inside the rim of the container and you have to make sure not to fill it too much or when you put on the lid the contents will come out of those vent holes. The lids also don't stack as neatly as I'd like in the cabinet, but it's not a dealbreaker. Overall, I would recommend these.

Love these containers for my dry storage!
I use these Rubbermaid Brilliance storage containers for all my dry ingredients. I'm an amateur home baker and I bake a lot of bread. I also live in a humid climate. I love knowing that my ingredients are going to stay dry and fresh after I open them for a long time! They even stack wonderfully for easy storage. If you bake a lot and always have open paper bags of flour that get flour everywhere, it's time to upgrade to these!

They look like they’d be perfect until the lid snaps and you can’t buy replacement lids. Definitely keep looking.

Disappointed in the material of product
I have purchased several of these containers and have thrown several of them away due to cracks in the material. I emailed Rubbermaid which said they are not to be used for hot liquids but they are microwavable use. I was using these products as meal preps to take for lunches because the liquids stays inside the product with no spillage. After several times of use the bottom of the product ends up cracking. I like the design, how the food stays sealed, how transparent and the capacity of the product but I don't like how the product becomes defective.
