Won these as a white elephant gift for Christmas and we didn't think much of them, until we tried them for the first time and I love the quality of them! They have good suction and the locks are sturdy; very durable.

Love these glass containers! Easy to pack..airtight cover...food stays fresh! Easy to transport and no harmful plastic.. I dropped this product twice...didn't break..incredibly durable and seems unbreakable...I did so much homework on glass storage and this product did not disappoint A++++++++

Lids are cracking. I purchased the medium, small, and sugar containers. Rubbermaid replaced the lid of medium container once. Recently, I bought more containers to give them another try, and I also intended to give some as gifts. However, the small 1.3-cup container developed ridges and its lid as well as medium size cracked. I'm not sure if the containers I gave as gifts also cracked. I'm very frustrated because I was hoping these would be durable storage containers for the long term. The manufacturer has been aware of this issue for years, yet they continue to sell poor-quality products to unsuspecting consumers. It seems that Rubbermaid is making a significant profit, with no incentive to provide customers with a reliable product.

Item looks good but dont hold up. They will soon begin to crack and the lids are hard to wash all the crevis's. Find something more durable the plastic is lucky if they last a year, considering what they cost and how long they last you will probably be better with disposable containers

I’ve been using these every day to tote my lunches for about 6 months and have been very pleased with their performance. Until recently, I did not have a dishwasher and hand-washed only. I have run them through the dishwasher maybe twice now and they have TOTALLY LOST THEIR LEAK PROOF SEAL!! Yes, this is on the top rack on a normal cycle with no crazy heating or sanitizing. I would not have put them in the dishwasher if they weren’t advertised as dishwasher safe…. Huge bummer, now I have to keep them in plastic bags to prevent leaking in my backpack.

I am very dissatisfied with the plastic line. I made multiple purchases of the brilliance line in glass and plastic when moving into our new home. They are not microwave safe nor dishwasher. Let’s just say when I called Rubbermaid and I was told that they can only go in the microwave for 30 seconds and that they should go on the top rack in the dishwasher. Not sorry that you feel that way can we offer you a promo code etc. while she chewed in my ear. Nevertheless, DO NOT GET THE PLASTIC.

Nice looking, good stack ability, snap lids work great-however-spend extra on the glass version. The plastic brilliance containers develop cracks, and the ‘no leaks’ claim goes out the window at that point. Even though I hand wash all dishes, these did not last long enough to recommend to anyone. I did call warranty service, nice conversation, but learned these pieces are now only warranted for 120 days. Not worth it.

I tossed all my storage containers and purchased the Brilliance collection. They started off wonderful. However, after a years use, they are all cracked and stained. Pretty upsetting due to the price.

Horrible product. I try to open this container and the pieces break off. I was just trying to get some food and then it just breaks off. It’s not my fault. These things need to be way more easier to open.

Dont waste your money, the lids will all break

While they are great when they are new. The lids start breaking at about one year. This is without any abuse, and top rack dishwasher. I bought myself and my daughter in law large sets. The clips that hold the lid on start breaking about the same time, Some of the lids cracked up bad.

I bought this product because it advertised that it could handle reheating temperatures of up to 350*, I am very disappointed to say that after only 3 to 6 months of use the containers began to crack and leak my food all over my lunch box and hot plate. I will not be spending my hard earned money on this product any longer.

I like the more expensive clear plastic containers. But they have started cracking (splitting). I just lost 3 in the last couple of days. I am careful, and follow the warnings, for example I never put them on the bottom rack of the dishwasher. Bottom Line: There is a serious flaw in these containers so I will not purchase any more Rubbermaid containers.

I bought two sets of containers that included a total of 4 of this size container (2 in each set). 3 out of 4 of these have cracked. I have not dropped any of them, never put them in the freezer, and they have gotten microwaved for 1.5 minutes a handful of times each. I really like the idea of these containers and love that they are leakproof, but they should NOT be cracking so easily with light usage.

I have had my Rubbermaid Brilliance in all sizes and I love them. I don't know what others are doing with theirs but they last for years. 4 years in and I would not trade them in. Actually I moved over from the traditional Rubbermaid storage containers to the Brilliance collection. Rubbermaid us very good quality. They may scratch but don't break. If they do you are doing something wrong. Love the fact that they are clear and have the snap lid. Bug proof. Not fresh seal tho. But I'm sure you'll improve that soon.
