Very Disappointed
I have used Clinique products since I was 24 years old. I am always complimented on my complexion at the age of 69. After all these years Clinique discontinued the facial soap bar. Big mistake! Nothing offered here compares to the facial bar soap. I'm very disappointed.

Disappointing
I have been using the Clinque bar soap for over 30 years. I have struggled with acne for most of my life and the bar soap is the only product that helps. The liquid soap is not effective. Please bring back the bar as soon as possible. It works.

It's horrible.
This is horrible. It is not a cleanser, it is a plastic coating for your face. Had to wash several times with Dove hand soap to get the scum off my face. 40 year user of the wonderful and discontinued bar soap. All these years you tell us to never break up our 3 step, and then you go and do it. Really shakes my confidence in the entire line now.

Breaking out ever since I switched to this from the bar
Clinique says in their responses to reviews that they're working on getting the bar back on the shelves...Please work faster! ::sob:: I've been using the liquid cleanser for months, and I swear I haven't broken out this frequently since I was a teenager. It just really doesn't clean as effectively. I know it's just soap, but I hate it. Like, what do you mean I gotta live under a fascist regime in this economy AND have problematic skin? This sucks.

Horrible Product, Bring Back the Bar Soap
It doesn't clean your face; you need to wash your face 3 times to get off makeup and daily dirt. Then you have to rinse your face 20 times to get the scaly feeling off. I'm not a tree hugger but why use excessive plastic bottles that aren't recycled most of the time, and all the excess water to rinse your face with the water shortage around most of the country. What was Clinique thinking getting rid of the bar soap which washed quickly and rinsed off quickly.

Just perfect for my skin type.
Love this cleanser. Doesn't dry my face out but keeps any breakouts at bay.

Bring back the oily skin bar soap
I had been using the bar soap for oily skin for years and it did a great job of removing all oil, dirt and leftover makeup from my skin. Clinique is no longer selling that product and the liquid face soap for "oily skin" is just not the same. Doesn't leave that squeaky clean feeling that the other soap did and I'm highly disappointed in the results after using for over a month. If you have very oily skin like I do, this product just doesn't cut it. Not to mention this product is at a much higher price point than the bar soap was. Will not be repurchasing this product. Clinique please bring back the bar soap or I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Why fix something that isn't broken
I'm reading these reviews and hearing you are working to have the bar soap available asap. Upon calling customer service, the 1-866 number, I was told that the bar soap had definitely been discontinued. Which is it? I am 70 and have used the bar soap since in my 20's. Best bar soap on the market. And it sounds like most everyone feels the same. Why do companies insist on changing a product that is already working perfectly? When I called I was told to try the foaming soap. I purchased the product and it's like a fine grade sandpaper, does not make my skin feel soft at all and it doesn't even remove all traces of make up. So now I have soap I can't use and still not sure what Clinique soap to use, since nothing compares to the bar soap. I have very sensitive skin and can't tolerate a lot of products. But the Clinique bare soap was a 200% winner. Are you bringing back the bar soap or is it gone for good?

Best facial soap for your face!
Have been using this product for years. It is gentle on my skin and cleanses well. It has no fragrance which is very important to me!

Great for my acne prone skin
This cleanser works great, I noticed a difference in my skin after the first wash. I struggle with hormonal acne and have always had large pores and kinda dull looking skin. Even after the first wash with this cleanser, my pores were noticeably smaller and my skin glowed. Very impressed!

Smaller Pores
Very gentle cleanser and I've seen results within 3 weeks of consistent use. I use the 3 step routine for dry combination

Great for Cleaning my Baseball Sons skin
My son started using this when he started breaking out from baseball. This has kept his oily skin clean and the breakouts from baseball away.

Why Mess With A Good Thing
I've used the bar soap all of my adult life. Agree with the Reviews asking "why" was this discontinued? Fingers crossed that the profit margin will not defer company from bringing back the bar soap. PLEASE!

Formula change?
I switched to another cleanser but noticed it had changed. After using Clinique's for many years, I came back to this cleanser for my dry skin. This one has changed too. I'm not sure what the change was, but this was irritating my eyes like crazy. Burn, baby, burn. I was scared this was going to affect my vision because it burned that bad! I went to the drugstore to find something for relief, the young cashiers look was horrified, yet didn't say a word. Shame on Clinique if you changed this formula!

After years of use I left Clinique for cleaner brands. I am back. My face has never felt so clean. I will not leave again.

So sad that I cannot by the bar soap
I was given samples of this product and it was awful and my skin felt slick and it itched. I decided to try the product geared more toward oily skin hoping it would work. It did not. It still left a type of film on my skin. I have so many problems and sensitivities and Clinique has been my go to for about 40 years. I am a loyal customer either through the website or through stores that sold their products. I hate this soap and I do not believe the reviews. I am sure they are trying to convince themselves or the consumer to try it. It is horrible and if Clinique wanted to add it that is fine but to actually take away one of the 3 main products that are used is a mess. I will not buy anymore products and will begin to try other good lines of skincare products. I am just one tiny light in a million voices but if you can hear us please return the bar soap that worked for millions of people and let us choose. I will return if Clinique listens otherwise I am sure I can find a line that sells a bar soap I can use.
