I like that the bench is made with very sturdy material that will not rust outside while it rains. It took 8 screws to build and you have a nice place to sit in your garden. The bench is material is metal. It's very comfortable to sit in. I love that it has a built in a retractable table. The table is very easy to put up or down. And it's a good size for my coffee and book when I'm sitting outside enjoying my day. I am very happy with design and looks of thIs bench. It makes my outdoor space so beautiful. It's a perfect seat to sit and enjoy my garden.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Alpine Corporation Metal Garden Bench with Retractable Table is stylish, as well as sturdy. It came in a big cardboard box that had the weight printed on it, as 40 lbs. I was a little worried about what I’d find, as far as having to put it together, but that turned out to be a nice surprise. There were 4 pieces- the back, the seat, and two side pieces that hold it all together. And 8 bolts with metal washers. That was it. It was simple, as far as figuring it out and following the instructions, however because of how heavy the seat piece was, I had a hard time getting it all bolted together by myself. It would definitely have been helpful to have someone on the opposite side holding the seat in place while I bolted the first side down. Nevertheless, I was able to accomplish it by myself. And no tools needed! Just one hex key, that was included. It’s got a table piece in the middle that pulls upward and locks in place when you want to use it as a table, but then lays flat if you want to just use the whole thing to sit on. I really like it a lot. It makes a nice addition to my yard. I may paint it blue, to match my other outdoor furniture. But it’s very nice looking as is. I’d definitely recommend it to others.

Came with a few rusted spots but so little I can repaint. (No biggie) came with damaged threads but we managed to screw a few bolts to keep it strong!! This ain't no complaint because I totally like the after look in my front deck. Other than that is an iron frame material. Black finish features uv protection and is a weather protection bench. The retractable table in the center rises very easy. I am thinking of making or purchasing a cushion for this bench. It is somewhat hard sitting on for any period of time!

Simple instructions for putting this together although it took a decent amount of time, I am no handy man but this was easy to put together. Metal is strong and will last a long time. The retractable table makes for a beautiful addition to this bench. I absolutely love that I can enjoy looking at my garden and pond now sitting and relaxing in my chair. The only con I can think of is that it should come with some type of padding for the seats, but none the less that’s an inexpensive fix for this beautiful chair. I highly recommend. It’s super durable and supportive, elegant and simple to place anywhere even just a deck.
