A: It shouldn't. It has a great look/feel as well as coverage. Use a light layer all over, more only on problem areas. A good primer will work as a base to help it not sink in to wrinkles and lines.

Q: Is this really 3gm? The studio fix from MAC store is 15gm., which would make this only 1/5 of the amount for the same price.

A: Answered my own question. Took a chance and ordered it since it was on sale for such a good price. It IS full size! The same 15g size as at the MAC store.

It's definitely not any better than cheaper brushes. The bristles create lines in the skin w the liquid foundation. I now use a thick shorter brush from Mac and a blender ball instead.

This brush is for laying product on the skin not for blending. Great brush for applying and even, thin layer of liquid formulas, including foundation and blush. You do need to go in with a separate tool though to blend. But excellent for applying product.

I have used this foundation for a few years. It is always consistent. Glad Mac doesn't keep making changes on a good thing. Medium coverage that I don't have to touch up during the day.

I really love this powder. It gives a great matte coverage. The only thing I wish is that it lasted a bit longer. If I wear it all day in the office you can see where it's coming off by late afternoon. I do love the coverage though!

heard that this will also be reformulated so that it doesn't contain talc. STOCK UP. every company that removed talc didn't manage to keep the integrity of the original. either, adding mica which adds shine and emphasizes texture, more silica which gives flashback, it's just more than likely not going to be the same. studio fix fluid was already ruined when they sheered it out and got rid of the smoothing effect it gave, so definitely stock up on this.

Bought this on a whim due to needing new foundation and good reviews. Color match was easy, goes on smooth and layers well for light to medium coverage. Having older skin I like that it doesnt cake, stays smooth, and doesn't settle in my fine lines. Lasts all day!
