New formula and scent are awful. This was my go-to lotion for almost 20 years. It is sentinel to me, but more importantly it worked well and was gentle while smelling divine. Now it is just disgusting.

I am totally in love with this body wash because of the fragrance it is having mild lavender fragrance which is very relaxing soothing scent. It smoothen out and cleans the body and provide such a great shower experience. According to the price they provide a good amount of product. The packaging is very convenient also its very beautiful and sturdy. Product consistency is good too Great product!

I've been a loyal fan of the Aveeno Calming Moisturizer for years. Years! I thought maybe I'd made a mistake and bought the wrong scent when I came home with my 2 massive jugs of this stuff. It smells like sour plastic with a faint scent of lavender. It is just not at all as pleasing as the old formulation that included chamomile and ylang ylang. I wish they wouldn't have monkeyed with such a superior product. Another case of ruining a product on the quest for a great profit margin, I guess. Not buying this again, but will keep checking the labels in hopes they come to their senses and return to the old formula.

I used this for almost 20 years….the scent was amazing and the lotion was perfect for sensitive skin. The new formula is terrible and I won’t purchase again. I do hope Aveeno actually listens to customers and goes back to the original formula. This was a great option for people with sensitive skin that wanted a nicely scented lotion. Aveeno makes many fragrance free options for those who are sensitive to scent. I get that Aveeno was trying to accommodate sensitive skin but they missed the mark here and this one stinks. Sometimes you just need to leave things be….new isn’t always better. Ugh….

Months ago, this rating would have been a 5 ++ star. However, the new scent is absolutely horrible. It was my morning, afternoon, at work, evening lotion. Calming and beautful soft scent. Not overpowering and barely noticeable. Now, as someone else stated, kind of smells like feminine scented pads. Tried it twice, thinking that maybe I just had to get use to it. Nope. It's terrible. Actually made me nauseous. I read somewhere that they changed the scent due to some people having sensitive skin reaction. I thought that's why you make the sensitive skin line. Anyway, if you ever go back to the original calming scent, please let me know!
