Still needed to add spices (salt and garlic powder) to it to make the flavor stronger. I’ve made it with beef and bison. The beef was definitely a better option flavor wise. It is definitely too spicy for most children. My older daughter (7) suffers through the spice because she really likes this meal. My youngest (2) just says “too picy” and pushes it away. It is good and convenient, but not something I’ll buy often.

Actually really good and a one pot meal! I did find it hard to get the noodles fully cooked though and definitely used extra water and cooked longer than it stated. We added cheese shreds and it was great! A little expensive considering it’s just the pasta and you still need a pound of ground meat with it. Definitely buying again though to keep on hand for busy days!

I loved the little spice this meal has. So many gluten free brands are bland but not this one. SO tasty for a party to make sure there is an allergy friendly dish.

I loved the convenience of this meal for hectic evenings after work and between activities/practices and that it’s organic, but I couldn’t get my kids to eat it at all. Even adding sour cream and Mexican cheese didn’t work. They said it was too spicy. Otherwise, I’d love to see more kid friendly flavors in organic, one pot and one box meals for busy nights.

Liked: all organic and more nutritious than other pasta kits Dislike: flavor, texture of noodles— there just wasn’t anything to it. It’s like memories of hamburger helper, but not anywhere close to as tasty. It’s intended to be healthy and tastes like it, too.
