It reduces up to 70% power consumption compared to the standard pump with its energy-saving design. For added convenience, the pump is submersible and can be used vertically or horizontally for convenient placement in your pond. The 180-degree rotating adapter allows full range of motion. A pre-filter cage prevents the pump from clogging and disassembles easily for quick cleaning. The included 33' long cord provides easy placement and accessibility. I have a Little Pond I have put this in and it keeps the Water Churning Fast! It has so Much Power and I know it will keep My Water Filtered and Moving. I love watching the Water Move. Cleaning the Filter is a Breeze and with the Long Cord ,I wont have to Worry about a Drop Cord to attach it to! Awesome Pump . I am hoping it last a Long Time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched to the alpine corporation exo-twist 4000GPH pump, with 33 foot cord several weeks ago and I couldn't be happier!! It was ready to use right out of the box, it was so easy to install my 5 year old could have done it! Its very quiet and the extra long cord means no more extension cord and in don't have to run a dedicated power line in the spring! I love this pump, it's a must have for anyone trying to compete for garden fountain of the year! I would highly recommend it !

The cord is long enough to reach my pond. It can also be used horizontal or vertical and has a rotating hose adapter with 180 degree movement. I'm really excited to have the finishing touch for my Koi pond! The eco-friendly design makes it a great choice for aquatic life and in bird feeders.
