[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm thrilled with the performance of this pump and cannot wait to get it out in the pond next Spring. I ordered it in the fall and when I received the box, I was impressed by the (relatively) small size of the pump and the intelligent use of plastic for noncritical parts and metal for the working areas of the pump. I was able to use it for a few weeks before ice and snow arrived and was impressed with how quiet it ran and for the solid performance. Next spring I'll complete the waterfall feature on the edge of the pond and cannot wait to hook this pump up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it in my pond it was easy to set up and also looks sturdy. I tried to use to to empty my pond too, but couldn't figure that out. Would recommend to make the pond a bit classy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received my new Alpine 4000 to replace an old outdated model for my medium size Koi Pond. The reason for getting this larger model was to increase circulation as my old 3000 was just not cutting it. After an easy installation and a quick flip of the circuit breaker my new Alpine was pumping away. Very quite pump which is nice for the Koi. The circulation is amazing and I could not be happier.
