I like to put flowers on the side for planting that look like they are cascading down. Helps give it more of the waterfall effect on both sides.

I was looking for a new way to decorate my porch, but the thing is that I needed something that wouldn't look tacky or overpower my house. When I found this fountain, it was perfect: the design is simple, there are no goofy colors, and it's an easy addition to my home. If you're looking for a simple , yet classy design for your porch, I recommend this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Alpine 3 tier fountain is a great addition for any porch decoration but be prepared to fill it up at least every other day. Assembly was fast and easy and the light weight aluminum is a nice touch. The vintage design is also very pleasant with a nice barn/rustic vibe! The problem comes into the splashing from one pot to the next… although my 1yr old loves playing in the water, my porch was looking like a splash pad at the park (and that was without him getting in it). I found myself at-least every other day filling up at least 1-2 gallons of water because of this issue. I would have really liked to have had a low-water sensor because once the water gets to low, the fountain begins to sound like a vacuum, and I know its only a matter of time before the pump wears out. Overall, the Alpine Corp. Vintage tub and planter is a beautiful piece but would have loved to see a low-water sensor and a fix for the splash issue.
