Worked OK for a few days, but then the adhesive failed, and the PopSocket fell off my phone, dropping the phone to the ground. I heard they recently changed the adhesive formula, so maybe that's it? Anyway, I like the comfort of the grip being soft, but with an unreliable adhesive, I can't recommend this since attaching the grip to the phone is the #1 most important priority for this to even be usable. I tried switching to another ring grip brand, and its adhesive is already lasting longer (over a week now). I'd suggest to PopSocket to put more resources into a reliable adhesive.

Pop Sockets are a cool invention
Love the design. Feels high quality enough that the paint won’t chip off. The glow is just the right level of soft glow for me. Too little to wake me up at bedside, but just enough to know where to reach for it in the dark if needed. Only downside is that with pop socket affixed (any one, not just this one) the phone won’t charge in my new car’s charging slot. So it’s a bummer, but not enough to make me abandon the pop socket. I just need to charge it with a cord. Perfectly do -able, but disappointing to be missing this new modern car charge possibility.

Not what I thought
This is very cute, but I thought it was magnetic, and could be easily removed. It's not, you have to pull off the film and stick it on the back, which makes it impossible to use the wireless charger. Disappointed.

Some problems
I originally loved my popsockets and I still do! However with the new gel, it makes it incredibly hard to remove and reposition. Before I had no problems removing, re-sticking, and repositioning, but now I can't do that easily. There is a ton of residue that gets left behind and the gel gets messed up I can't restick it. This has happened a few times and it's very frustrating

The glow was fine, you have to charge it up with your flashlight 1-2 times when you first get it and it’ll glow from then on, but not that bright. It’s useful in the middle of the night when the room is pitch black and you can’t find your phone, but otherwise don’t expect it to be a glowstick. I loved it for 7 months until the metal piece broke off from the accordion just now. The pretty part is completely fine, so I’ll save it in my marvel collection as a little trinket.
