Guests are saying
This sauce offers a convenient option for quick meals, with some guests appreciating its ease of use and versatility in recipes. However, many guests find it excessively salty and gelatinous in texture, which affects its overall appeal. While some have successfully adjusted the flavor by diluting it or adding ingredients, others find the taste unpalatable. It's best suited for those who enjoy experimenting with flavors and can manage its saltiness.

How can we improve this sauce?
I bought it before seeing the reviews and I am giving it a 2. There is a sour after taste and no strong flavor. I wish I could figure out what I can do to give it flavor. I added chicken, cauliflower, peas… I’m thinking maybe chipotle sauce? Anyone who has found a way to give it a boost, would appreciate your ideas, sadly

Tasty - would make again with less water
The flavor Is good, maybe a little salty, but we didn’t season our chicken or salt our pasta, so it wasn’t noticeable. I would make it again with less water. It was very easy meal at the end of a busy day.

No Thanks
The first time I had this I failed to follow the directions but found it tasty. This time I followed directions and it was way too watery and tasteless.

Too Runny When Follow Instructions
I added the extra water per the directions and it turned out too watery. The flavor also wasn’t very good. I won’t be purchasing this one again.

Easy and tasty just follow the directions.
Reading the one star reviews it is obvious they didn't dilute the sauce. Says to brown the chicken first... I dunno maybe don't brown it and just make sure it's not pink. I chop it before before simmering for 20-30 minutes.

Too salty, vague tomato taste
I had high hopes for this sauce after trying other simmer sauces from the Good & Gather brand; however, was a bit disappointed. We followed the instructions on the lable to add water while simmering. We added in bell peppers and onions to the sauce. Overall, the sauce was a tad too salty still (with no additional salt added). And the taste--nothing to write home about. It was a very generic taste, truly nothing that stood out. I could've eaten my chicken and bell peppers and onions without the sauce and enjoyed my dish more.

Not Good
This sauce is too salty and is very gelatinous in texture. Overall does not even taste good if you didn’t care about the salt or texture.

Salty, but still good
Based on other reviews, I mixed it up a bit. The sauce is salty, but I diluted with water as the directions say (added 1 jar water.) I also added two onions, a can of white beans and doubled the kale. Served over pasta. Family loved it. (Yes, salty, but you can spoon out the ingredients and add as much of the sauce as you like.)

FULL OF SODIUM
This is disgusting because it is full of sodium. It has over 1500 mg of salt. I tasted it and literally was like this is high blood pressure and heart disease in a bottle. There is no reason to use this much sodium.

Not Suggested
The directions said to add 1 1/4 jar of water, which made it watery. The directions also said to brown the chicken and then simmer it in the pot with sauce and water. The chicken was dry with this method.

Tasty! No heat!
So good! No heat, just the way I like it. Gluten free so my son could eat it. Will buy it again! Already in my cart for next week!

WAY, WAY TOO SALTY!!!!!!
I sauteed some plant-based chicken nuggets, and then poured the Tuscan sauce over it until heated, and then added cheese on top and microwaved it. I ate it with bread sticks. The problem is this sauce is way, way too salty to eat undiluted. It's 4X too salty to eat undiluted. Maybe if you add 4 parts water to 1 part sauce it would taste okay. But then it would be so diluted that it would add little flavor to the chicken. So my verdict is: THUMBS DOWN!!!!!!!

ADD WATER!
Really enjoyed this sauce! I love an easy crockpot meal. Chicken, sauce, and then water. 2 hours on high and add rice. You can add veggies, too. Done and done!

Jello sauce
This was a goopy, gelatinous sauce that was unappetizing to look at. The flavor was ok but the texture was horrible.

Awesome sauce
It's so easy to use this sauce when you don't feel much like cooking! I browned some frozen chicken breasts cut into strips in the crock pot, added sauce & some water & set it to low for the next few hours. I served over pasta with a side of broccoli. Yummy! And husband agreed! Next time I would add less water as I had to saute a little at the end to reduce it. This would also be great with Gnocchi or rice. I will be buying this again, when it's on sale. I wouldn't normally pay $3.29 for just a jar of sauce.

Inedible
This is the first time I’ve ever written a review. This sauce was so bad I felt the need to warn others. I literally couldn’t eat what I had cooked with this sauce.

Eh, not bad but not great
It’s not bad but not the best. In a quick pinch as a working mom - I throw it in the crockpot and added sun-dried tomatoes. I would’ve added spinach too. Made with a side of rice for a quick and effortless dinner. Not sure I would buy again though as it didn’t really stand out.
