Q: Does it have parabens? I’m highly allergic to parabens.
A: No silicones and no parabens. This is why I use this shampoo.
submitted byJobita - 1 month agoA: Hi there, Alx! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out about our Fructis Pure Clean. Parabens act as a preservative and are derived from an acid which naturally occurs in many fruits and vegetables. Safe ranges for the use of parabens in cosmetics have been established around the world, and without them, Garnier products could spoil and become harmful to you. We are continuously working to develop innovative formulas that are less vulnerable to microbial contamination, while also limiting the use of parabens, always keeping your safety a top priority, and ensuring Garnier maintains its superior quality delivered to you.

Q: Does it have sulfates or silicones?
A: No silicones but it does have sulfates. Any time there are a good amount of suds there’s sulfates in the product. I have type 4 natural textured hair and I only use this shampoo to clean my hair because it rinses clean and doesn’t leave any residue from Silicones or parabens or oils. I use a sulfate shampoo biweekly to deep clean my hair and then deep condition. Sulfates are needed to start fresh. They are ok as long as you’re not using them all the time.

Q: Is this shampoo good for frizzy, dry hair that needs volume? I need a shampoo that helps with dryness but also gives thin hair volume.
A: Hey Hyacinth, Yes this would be great for dry, thin, frizzy hair. I would recommend to use a hair mask like the Garnier Fructis 1 Minute Nourishing Hair Mask to help treat the ends of your hair with for dryness and frizz.
