I was excited to receive this desk. After reading other reviews, I was prepared for a time-consuming assembly. The desk arrived in two boxes. The top of the desk arrived smashed. I immediately called customer service and was advised I would receive an update in 48 hours regarding a replacement top. I contacted customer service after over 48 hours, and they said I needed to contact Sauder (the manufacturer). I felt like I was running in circles. It has been one week since I received the initial package and I have not received a replacement top for the desk. Target did not reach out regarding an ETA. I am annoyed but hoping the replacement top will arrive soon and without damage.

Great piece of furniture for my office. The only reason I gave it a 4/5 star rating is because not all of the pieces were marked properly and the instructions at times lacked clarity.

I ordered this desk for my home office. There is quite a bit of assembly, but it's not hard to put together. The directions were good! This desk is super heavy-duty and looks very good, while also being functional. If you are thinking of ordering it.... Do it! You won't be disappointed.

I love the amount of drawers and the large work surface of the desktop. Just be aware that it is not solid timber (as I was led to believe by the 3rd party seller) it's laminate covered particle board

A really good solid desk - i would give 4/5 stars for ease to put together. There were some screws which were difficult to get to, but it does mean that its very sturdy. The cable management holes are really only built for one side of the desk. Unless you've got big cables. I've got a desktop computer sitting on the floor next to the computer, and there's still some cables showing, but overall it's relatively neat and tidy.

So happy to have purchased this desk directly from Sauder. It is beautiful and I love it. 7 drawers including 2 file folder drawers. Plenty of storage space. The quality is outstanding. However, the shipping carton was a bit damaged and had holes and lots of retaping on the end and corner. After opening the box, the desktop was slightly scarred and was missing a drawer side. Sauder customer service was outstanding and got me the missing part in a couple days and gave me a credit for the desktop which I was pleased with. Overall I am giving Sauder product a 5 star, customer service 5 star and quality of the desk a 5 star rating.

Assembly took a while but the ready product is beautiful. Purchased the executive desk, two bookshelves and the filing cabinet and my home office looks presentable and is also very comfortable.

Lots of space and storage. I love the cable management and how sturdy the desk is. It did take many hours for my husband to put together though as there are very many pieces and steps, as well as it being VERY heavy. Overall, we love the desk. Very beautiful.

Unusual Design Issues: 1. Middle and top drawers do not align with the uprights. There is a 3/8 inch gap. (See photo). 2. Top two drawers do not completely close and stick out 3/8 inch. (see photo).

Words cannot even begin to describe the frustration and hassle I've dealt with as a direct result of purchasing this desk. I've literally spent thousands of dollars on it between trying to have it moved and the movers absolutely destroying it during disassembly and reassembly because it's too big to fit through doorways, having to replace the desk entirely, hiring another company to build it for me because I was too stressed and fed up to rebuild it myself and now the company I've hired to build the second desk messed it up too, the whole time complaining about how annoying it was that there were so many parts. Thousands of dollars down the drain and my desk is still not fully functional! Then when I contacted support the only thing they could do was offer me 20% off my next order (even though I'd get the same offer if I signed up with my email?) as if I'd ever order something from this company again. I had to go out of my way to ask for the numbers to different handymen in my area that the company has worked with before and deems reputable so now will have to spend even more money on this stupid desk. I honestly feel completely defeated and truly sick to my stomach and I hate so much that there's nothing anyone can even do.

I'm using this executive desk for my home office. Plenty of drawer space and desktop space for my needs.

This is a great desk for our businesses offices. We have been upgrading desks through the office and really like the Sauder products.

As our office desk, this unit has good storage options. It is very solid and a decent size. There was one damaged piece in the box, a staple had been put through the front of a trim board. We clipped it off and will fill with wood crayon. Should not have been there but overall it is a nice desk.

The desk came extremely well packaged. It is heavy! Assembly was pretty straightforward, there was only one little bracket that would have been missed if I hadn't looked ahead. The finish seems like it will hold up to some reasonable use and the color is actually better than I expected. The best part of my experience was the customer service. There was one drawer glide that had no obvious defects observable during assembly but that was clearly defective. One of the drawers just wouldn't close right and bb's were dropping into the drawer below. I went to the Sauder website, found customer support, entered some information from my instruction book, and a new glide was at my door in less than a week. Drawer works flawlessly now. No waiting on hold, no chat, just a resolution to my issue. Outstanding!
