Q: How do I clean these cushions. I assumed incorrectly that the covers could zip off for washing.

A: I opened seam around the back, put a zipper in for the bottom cushion. If linen hand wash, might not resize to the original size. Or cover the whole chair for weather to protect.

Loveee these egg chairs so much that I bought 2 of them! Also go super lucky with the 40% discount. They arrived in 2 huge boxes and were a bit heavy so you’ll definitely need 2 people to transport. My husband said it took him about an hour to assemble both. My only complaint is that the cushions get dirty very quickly and do not have zippers.

I had been eyeing this chair for a long time and finally decided to purchase it and was very happy when it arrived! It's very sturdy and looks exactly like the pictures online. My biggest gripe is that the cushion covers are not removable. This is very annoying because it's a light color and attracts dirt easily. Thankfully my mom is good at sewing and it going to add either a zipper or velcro so I can wash them. Overall, I would recommend this chair. Just be aware of the cushions. Such a bummer since this chair is so expensive. I would have hoped they would have added zippers as a feature to help with the longevity of the covers.

I’ve had this chair for 6 years and it’s my favourite! I’ve had it inside and just put it on our deck this spring (with a cover). It’s so comfortable and is so easy to put to put together & take apart when I want to move it to another room haha

... there's no zipper for washing the cushion covers. I have two of these chairs at home, in my garden, but after 2 years, the cushions are completely filled with moisture and mold. For the price, a zipper to open the covers would have been a MAGNIFICENT idea!!!!
