for the price its not great. u have to cook it in a skillet when I thought it was a microwave thing. the meat looks fake, and the container said it has 3 servings and when I weighed it. there was only enough for 2 serving. tasted okay but I definitely could have done better.

Flavorful meat and the gravy is good too! Put over mashed potatoes. Delish!

I don't understand this item. it's called steak tips, but really is a poorly cooked steak that you're supposed to heat up and cut up into tips yourself. I guess it states that in instructions, but the name of it is sirloin steak tips, so I made this weird assumption. The taste was pretty bland and I guess I'm used to other brands that have similar items. I expected a slow cooked, tender meat. This was a broiled steak and included a flour gravy with some brown coloring. My family ate it, but we'll never get this again.

I have had other Kevin’s meals and generally found they are not the most flavorful but I like the ingredients and that it’s a convenience item that still falls Within how I choose to eat. When I saw the reviews I ignored them because sometimes choosing health doesn’t taste as flavorful but if it is fueling your body and half decent, sometimes that’s good enough for a busy working mom…This meal on the other hand was so god awful I feel like it should never have made it past R&D testing. I would liken the texture to one big dog food clump and the steak tastes like it came from a can (not su vide). The gravy was probably the most foul gravy I’ve ever had, season less and yet also salty with a hint of funk (I’m guessing from mushroom powder?) I tried saving it by sautéing some kale and adding some other seasoning to try and revive the dish but it was just bad, texture was bad, flavor was bad and I greatly disliked eating it giving my second portion to my dogs. I will never waste my money on Kevin’s steak again- for those who enjoy other Kevin’s dishes, just stick with the chicken meals!

Sorry but souse veide or however you spell it is boring if you don’t get the seared edges and parts for flavor. I was hoping I wouldn’t have to mess with browning everything delicately as the meat is already almost cooked. Too prone to getting overdone when I do toss it in a pan. Sauce is bland. I doubt I will buy this or any of the others I purchased again. None have been winners! Do not pay fill price for these as often on sale for $8-9 on sale.

Very tough to chew- which is weird when it’s sou vide! Gravy tastes like a mix. Not something I would recommend or purchase again unfortunately.

Could be a bit more tenderized. And a little more flavor. Loved a lot of gravy which was amazing. You could taste some flavor. A great size for two people. Doesn’t take long to heat up.

Being a family who has celiac with lactose intolerance we have always loved Kevin's Meals. Unfortunately, over the past two years, the quality of Kevin's meals have significantly decreased. Not only are the portions smaller, the quality of meat has significantly declined all while the prices went from $7.99 to a whopping $12.99. This last meal was total junk. Meat was truly awful, chewy, stringy. Most the sauce evaporated. Just junk. Low amd behold, after some research, I found Mars Corp acquired them back in 2023. THIS EXPLAINS SOOOO MUCH. Everything that company you hes, turns to crap..and they own everything. From many, many foods and candy, to your dog's food, vet, emergency vet, vet insurance and stock in medicine. So tired of corporations like Mars ruining a good thing.

Terrible taste and smell. Several pieces were too hard to eat, and others were chewy and gummy from fat. Terrible!!

I prepared these steak tips exactly as the directions suggested, but they were awful. The meat was chewy, fatty, & tough. I would put a piece in my mouth & attempt to chew it & had to spit it out. Also, the gravy was overly salty. Would not buy again.

They had more gristle than I would have expected from a sous vide cooking process

It’s all clumped together. Doesn’t cook well. It’s the equivalent of dog food.

Small amount, not appealing, and poor taste.
