Good for smaller toddlers

A good ride-on toy for smaller toddlers. The 6V firetruck is not strong enough for my 3 y/o who weighs 33 lbs but my 2 y/o who weighs 23 lbs can ride it without it burning out.

I can’t see this ride-on fire truck surviving more than a couple of months. The assembly was a bit more than I expected, especially the steering column and wheel. Make note of the internal wiring which could be easily cut while shoving parts together.

Disappointed, nephew heartbroken

My 2 year old nephew was super excited about this firetruck because he is in love with firetrucks. So imagine my disappointment when he got on for his first ride and after a few seconds the wheels fell off because there were no hubcaps anywhere in the box that keeps the wheels together. He is still disappointed today because his parents keep telling him he can’t ride it until the hubcaps come. The day after Christmas (today) I called customer service and they placed me on a five minute hold only to come back and tell me that I would have to send over pictures and let the company decide whether or not they would send the hubcaps that never came on the firetruck. When I asked the rep are you saying that they will decide whether or not to send me hubcaps that never came? She said yes or you can return it but you have to order it again online because it’s not sold in stores. Wow is all I can say!

Super cute, but battery not great

These are super cute, I wanted to love them! My boys love them, but the quality is not great. The siren lights broke within a day or two. Didn't bother my boys, they still enjoyed them. Then the battery wouldn't charge, very quickly after that. We had to use our own charging method shown in photo. Now they won't charge at all- we've had them for ~5 months. Super disappointing! Would have been great as just a standard ride on toy with the sounds and lights!

Not worth it.

I gave it 3 stars because my son loves it now that we got it working properly, and it stays charged for a long time. The lights on top keep coming off so easily. Within a hour after it was put together. They are broke within a week. Tires keep coming off because the pin that holds it together looks like a hair pin. If your child is not heavy enough the wheels just keep spinning but won't grip the floors[if that makes sense]. My husband had to go to a hardware store to purchase pins to fit on the wheel just to keep them on. I don't recommend. Don't waste your money like I did.

Toddler fun

My 2.5 old toddler loved this ride on toy. She's obsessed with fire trucks so this was a huge hit. It's not too fast not too slow, easy for a small child to drive - the gas pedal is better than a manual button in my opinion. It has bright lights and loud music. Battery life is great, I charge it overnight once a week. Assembly was easy and fast - about 10 minutes. We tried on carpet, hardwood and cement floor and they all worked fine. ??

Good riding firefighter toy

My brother is a firefighter and this was a perfect riding toy gift for my nephew. Has an odd firefighter sound, but overall is a great toy for toddlers.

Falls Apart Easily

My son received this truck as a Christmas gift. He loves it, but I would not recommend this truck to any parent looking for a truck that will last. The light bar pops off with ease (so easy that my 20 mo old son pulls it off daily). There's also an opening under the seat where kids would love to stick toys but a bunch of the wiring for the truck is in there and eat for kids to mess with. I tried to pick it up by the handle the other day. And it just popped off. Everything is easy to put back together, but it just shows that it won't last. This truck also plays the 80's song Moonlight Shadow (dance version) which is completely irrelevant to a toy fire truck. Every time it plays, we raise an eyebrow because it's so bizarre.

Great Buy for my Little One

Bought this for my 2yo son and he loves it! It does require some assembly so be mindful of that. My son loves to play with it and for the money it's actually a pretty good product. My only complaint would be how loud it is. But other than that great little truck for my little one and a bonus it came BEFORE Christmas! It was supposed to arrive a few days late but got there right on time so I was very appreciative of that.
