OXO Toilet Plunger and Canister

While the concept is great, the actual plunger is terrible. It closes up inside itself and renders the plunger completely useless. Who wants to be the person who has to put their hand up inside the plunger to pull out the part that collapsed? Not me! The caddy/holder is still great and usable but get a different plunger.

The plunger 🪠 did not include the cannister I have to return it

I had the older version for years and it was the best plunger ever. Really regret throwing that one away when I moved. It was still working just fine, but I figured new place/new plunger. These new ones are absolute trash. I don't know what change they made, but I'm sure it was something to save them money. The price for us sure didn't decrease though. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Arrived unassembled. Doesn't reassemble. Bought different brand.

The worst suction. Pros is the long handle but if it doesn’t create a seal, it won’t unclog the toilet

I’ve bought this plunger for years because it’s the best I’ve ever used by far. Its handle reaches high up and is at a comfortable height for me (great if you’re over 6’). You don’t want to be up close to splashing toilet water if you can help it so I try not to cut costs when it comes to the handle’s height. It looks clean since it stays enclosed in its stand/container when not in use. I don’t need my plunger to look sleek, but it looks pretty sleek. It unclogs toilets better than any other plunger I’ve used. I saw other reviews commenting it just doesn’t work. I don’t know how those reviewers must be using theirs. I imagine someone’s success must have to do with the shape of their toilet bowl. Fwiw mine is round and maybe this plunger wouldn’t work as well if your bowl is elongated. It’s durable too. I’ve used the same one for years and it shows few signs of degrading or even grime. I’m buying another now but just to replace a cheapo plunger in a different bathroom. I’ll probably end up handing it down to my grandkids. OXO doesn’t miss!

No suction at all waste of money

Absolutely no suction and terrible plunger

No suction, my toilet is still clogged

Does the job and I like how easily it closes. No touching needed. We had the older model of this one that lasted for years.

I bought this because normally OXO products are good. This is the exception. When you use it to plunge a toilet it collapses into itself and there is no suction. Don't waste your money on this one.
