Class & Utility
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stone by Mercer Project - Stone by Mercer Project Shosai Stoneware 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Black is a set that I would feel comfortable with special guests or just family stopping over. A nice addition to the kitchen table.

Beautiful dinnerware l
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time using the stone made dinnerware. Product quality is premium and solid. Loved the design and color. Great for a formal dinner party at home. It's dishwasher safe too. I would definitely recommend it to my friends

Beautiful and Rustic
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Stone by Mercer Project stoneware set is beautiful and makes me feel like I'm eating at a nice restaurant every time I sit down to enjoy a meal. I've even found myself being more intentional while plating my food to romanticize the task because these plates are too pretty not to. The plates are great- easy to stack in the cupboard and the different sizes are great for dinner or small snacks. The actual color is more of a lighter charcoal gray in person rather than a dark charcoal gray like they are in the photos. The cups are sturdy and a nice size. My only complaint is that the bowls don't stack. I knew this before I received them, obviously, but it has become more of a pain than I thought it would be. Overall, a quality and beautiful dinnerware set to have.

Love the look and design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife loves the look of this modern design. This 16 piece set is great for dinner parties. It comes with dinner plates, salad plates cups and desert plates. It has a durable black maté finish. The thing my wife didn’t like was the bottoms don’t have glaze finish. This stone ware is perfect for any dinner large or small, dinner plates are 10.6 inch, will hold a lot of food. Has a lip on the edge to keep food from sliding off the plate.

Stone era
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Luxury at its best the stone is very well-made. Very beautiful easy to use and I feel like I’m in the first class restaurant when I eat them at home they make my cabinets look lovely with the light shining on them, and they are very durable large enough to put enough food on the plate, a cup fit well in your hand and the bowls are great for cold and hot foods

Lightweight and nice finish. Versatile
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This serving set from the Mercer Project is a nice, sturdy 4-person set consisting of a 12 inch plate, 8 inch salad plate, 11 ounce cup and an over-sized soup/cereal bowl (measurements approximate). The plates are somewhat striking in appearance. They have a muted mat finish and a unique circular design that seems at home with rustic or everyday dining. (Our previous set fine china-sets looks too glamorous to use for any use except holidays). The things I like most about this set are the finish and weight. I have another set of attractive serving sets that is too heavy to use. Fortunately, these are lighter than expected, and can be used everyday. They are also attractive enough for guests and holidays. There are not many cons to the set, other than the lack of finish on the underside (I have no idea why this is the case, though it doesn’t bother me as we have tablecloths and place mats). The soup bowl seems a little too generous in size. If I were to pour an 8-ounce serving of soup, it might not come up 1/3 of the way. These plates are easy to clean and I assume they would be fine in a dishwasher. The manufacturer however cautions against use in the microwave as they retain heat. But then again, how many nice china sets would go in the dishwasher and microwave anyway? Probably very few, so this is not a problem in my opinion. I have enjoyed these plates and they will be my ‘go to’ plates when guests come over.

Unique Look
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stone by Mercer Project Shosai Stoneware 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Black is a very unique looking dinnerware set. I like how the bottom is not glazed, it gives it a custom feel. The pieces are a bit hard to fit in the dishwasher. I'm not sure on the cups, they're a little bulkier than I prefer, but I like the way they look. These get pretty hot in the microwave, so take care when removing.

Gorgeous
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an absolute stunning set. The quality can be felt the second you touch it. It is very heavy duty. This will be a great set for display or dinner parties when you want to impress. This goes perfect in my modern farmhouse style home and decor.
