If you have any issues with your skin barrier I would recommend you use sparingly and of course use spf in the day. I took a star off because I’m not a fan of a night time routine product that I have to apply after washing my face and then have to rewash my face again after 5 minutes.

You need to start gently with this product and then increase the time you leave it on, follow the directions carefully. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am big on exfoliators and my preference tends to be more toward chemical exfoliators rather than physical so I was very excited to receive and review this product from Influenster and Apto skincare. I already have one AHA serum at home but this one is different. I really loved the gel like consistency of this product and the lactic acid was a bonus as well! This serum made my skin feel softer and appeared to visibly reduce the look of my pores, dead skin cells, etc. while still being gentle enough not to make my skin feel tight and stripped like some of these types of products can do. I actually felt like this added some hydration to my skin after using it. I think that is probably in part due to the seaweed. I really loved it! I will continue to use this product and most likely repurchase in the future.

I didn’t notice any difference in my face before using this or after using it but will continue to test it out. I like seaweed products and lactic acid works well for my skin.
