This is the worst protein food I have ever purchased. Literally tastes like card board with chemicals on top. I had to throw it away. Disgusting

I'm a chocolate lover so this is the only flavor option I have tried. I do like the taste, especially warmed up, and satisfies my sweet tooth.

Really tasty, I love the texture , great energy boost.

Very gritty/grainy texture and flavor was quite lackluster. The icing on the top hardly covered half the width of the piece. Pretty disappointed, but I suppose that’s in part due to my hope that a protein-focused pastry would be a comparable replacement to an actual pastry.

I used to buy these all the time, but now they suddenly look and feel smaller. I just bought one an earlier today and when I got home one of the pop tarts was opened and smashed, leaving crumbs at the bottom of the box. The pastry itself looks dry

Legendary has become very sloppy with how they put these together. This pic is 100% representative of the last two boxes I’ve purchased. No thank you. Too expensive for false advertising.

The Chocolate Pastry is my favorite dessert and favorite Legendary product! Microwaving it for 10 seconds makes it an ooey-gooey chocolate delight. Highly recommended.

It’s okay. The pop tart doesn’t look like the picture. I wouldn’t have reviewed this unless it was cheaper. For this price, I’m expecting a good pop tart. It didn’t have the sprinkles and it was only good warmed up. Where are the sprinkles? I’m not asking for too much when the price is too much for what you’re giving.

I do love these, especially after 15 seconds in the microwave. Great chocolate flavor, nice texture. I’m glad I can give these a 5 because I just wrote 1 Star reviews for the chocolate donuts and the Mac and cheese.

Quality control on this product is lacking as some of the pop tarts have minimal frosting on the top or only have three out of four pop tarts in the box

My favorite flavor of the Legendary poptarts. Is a bit dry and has a protein taste for sure but is filling and tastes good for a protein-dense snack

SO good! Deep, rich, decadent chocolate flavor. Perfect with almond milk or coffee. Love these things!

These pop tarts (protein pastries, they call them) are delicious, and I have tried them all. Every brand out there claims to have a "light, flaky pastry crust" but most of them are tasteless and have a distinct resemblance to the cardboard box they arrived in. Legendary pastry crusts are soft, and they taste better to me than the brand name PopTarts do. Sometimes the sprinkles on top are hit and miss. One day, both my husband and I opened one for breakfast--his had plenty of sprinkles. Mine had three. . . total. So that part could use some quality control. We have tried the Chocolate Cake, S'mores, Cherry, and Strawberry flavors so far. The filling in the pastries is quite delicious. It does not leave any after-taste in your mouth. Also, there is a generous amount of filling in each one. That is certainly not the case with the other brands I have tried. I admit that in my search for a keto pop tart, I was also looking for one that was economical. I found, however, that the saying is true: you get what you pay for. If you want great taste every time, stick with Legendary Pastries.

I have been carb and sugar free for over 2 years now - this is the closest thing I have EVER found to a treat that fits my diet that still tastes like a cheat. And it had protein?! No brainer.
